Ok ill start with the good points, there aint many- friendly staff, very close to city centre. Bad points- room stinked, filthy sheets, bring your own pillow! The pillows there might as well have been tea bags. Minimal kitchen utensils. Over all the place needed a good clean. Wont be returning.

We checked in for two nights. The positive things: cheap prices, friendly staff, private rooms available, easy to find and within walking distance, enough space in the rooms. Negative aspects: mould in the bedroom and the bathroom, shower fixed in a makeshift manner, no chairs to sit on, clean but not appealing furniture, Wifi did not work properly, strange smell,... Stayed there for a few days and really enjoyed my stay. On my way to stay there for a second time. Good value for your money. The staff are really nice to. I have read reviews where the traveller complain about the staff but i have seen it myself where some travellers are arrogant and are cocky towards the staff.... More

The staff and location are ideal. The hostel has a good size kitchen and there is a good vibe in the place. The staff are very helpful and couldn't do enough for you. Would thoroughly recommend if your visiting Cork. Kevin from Tyrone.

Stayed for one night. The staff were friendly and quite helpful. The room was EXTREMELY dirty, the walls felt damp, there was hair on the sheets and pillowcases, there were also flies in the room. All of the locks in the toilets were broken. However it was only a five minute walk from the city centre.

This hostel is in the city center but you still can find a place to park just in front of the place. It is a budget hostel, so don't spect too much, the building is old and the rooms need a lot of maintenance. They have a kitchen for guests Staff are nice and breakfast is included

We stayed here two times during our tour fpthrough Ireland. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. There is a spluggage storage service and free wifi. We stayed in the dorm room and we were happy to have a relaxing sleep and a almost-hot shower in the morning. We enjoyed the public kitchen and free breakfast in the am.

Stayed here awhile ago with a friend. Room wasn't that clean and had a feeling of damp. Location was good but not in a great area. I definitely wouldn't recommend, better hotels around the city that are only marginally more expensive.

If you choose to stay in the 16-bed dorm, you may often be woken up or frightened by the door that slams deafeningly loud closed if you don't slowly close it. There are also no lockers in the room. The wifi doesn't work very well here, especially during peak times (like night time when everyone is using it) and on... More
