We recently spent 4 lovely nights at the Hayfield Manor and without a doubt it was our favourite hotel during our Irish adventure!... We stayed in Room 8 which had three large windows providing lots of light and was very generously sized with a fantastic large bathroom...

This is a luxury hotel that is really worth the money... The two restaurants are superb and for a New Yorker, really reasonably priced...

We received a significant Blue Book Voucher last summer, and debated at length whether we would use it on a couple of less expensive trips, or blow it all on one big 5 star experience. After much thought, we chose the latter, and now have much regret, as Hayfield Manor failed to deliver anything more than the majority of 3 or 4 star hotels already offer... To be fair, Orchid's did lift our dining experience on night 2, but having booked the 5 star 1 night dinner package for both nights, we expected the 5 star treatment on both nights... Perrods certainly did not live up to five star expectations... Having stayed in a multitude of castles, grand hotels and indeed Blue book hotels, This hotel itself offers nothing spectacular... The leisure facilities are okay, but again, not what I would have expected at this price point... Waiting over half an hour to order desert with the menu open in front of us, while tables next to us remained uncleared was a bit too much... We did highlight our disappointment on check out, but it fell on deaf ears, her only response was "can I let the management know", which we answered of course, but then she proceeded to take payment and wish us well on our way... At this price point, if you want a spectacular venue, go to Ashford Castle/Adare Manor, if you want a spectacular room, go to the Ice House in Mayo, if you want an amazing culinary experience, go to Neven Maguire's in Blacklion, Lyrath in Kilkenny or Lough Rynn Castle for a combination of all amenities... Please to waste your time and vast quantities of cash in Hayfield...

Myself and my sister vsited the Spa on 26th February. We were booked in for the Signature package, we arrived a little early to avail of the pool and outdoor tub... The Spa area is absolutely beautiful, we were greeted by Sarah who was extremely helpful, we enjoyed relaxing in the pool area before our treatments... It was absolute bliss 💖 I was with Karen and she was superb, she has a beautiful manner and made me feel extremely relaxed, I would request her again... Once finished Sarah was on hand to ensure we enjoyed our experience and showed us to the restaurant... The Afternoon tea was beautiful, we were so relaxed after our treatments that this was a gorgeous way to end our day... The staff in the restaurant were so attentive, the attention to detail was amazing 💕 We would definitely return to the Spa and restaurant, Thanks to the staff at Hayfield for a beautiful day...

I spent the best Sunday morning at Hayfield Spa... Sarah, working on reception, was so welcoming and friendly and explained everything to me really clearly... Yvonne, the masseuse, gave the best ever full body message... ...From the moment we came up the drive and saw the splendour of the historical building we knew that “Hayfield Manor Hotel” was very special, but little did we know how fabulous the ambience of the Manor is. Upon arrival to “Hayfield Manor Hotel” we were warmly welcomed by very friendly efficient staff who couldn’t do enough for us... On leaving the “Hayfield Manor Hotel” we looked back at the beautiful building to see a large Christmas Tree lit in every bedroom window which is a vision I will never forget... We look forward to returning to “Hayfield Manor Hotel” for a stay so we can enjoy a pampering treatment from the Spa team and we also want to explore more of what this “Jewel in Cork” has to offer especially the gardens... Huge respect to the General Manager - Evander Brennan who excels in giving excellent 5-star hospitality...

Staying at the most beautiful hotel in Cork (possibly in Ireland?)... This gorgeous hotel is centrally located, has onsite restaurants, and a fabulous spa... The grounds are akin to a botanical garden complete with an aviary... From the time you arrive and Frank greets you and makes certain your stay is perfect, to the moment when the check-in staff assures your room is just right and offers you sips of Irish whiskey, when you leave the spa feeling rejuvenated, and when you sleep like a baby in your room - all you can think is “when can I come back?” How can I forget housekeeping?... The housekeeping staff provides beautiful amenities and a sparkling clean room...

...Our room was lovely, got a family room and it was spacious, bed and pillows were soft and comfy. We didn't expect their turndown service because we have been to a lot of 5star hotels and this is the first time for us to experience this... I felt that their guests are really pampered... When we came back after breakfast, bed was made and got fresh towels... Couldn't ask for more because they're a step ahead of the guest's needs... Would definitely stay here again if we come back to cork...

...They do stick to providing a high level of personal service and will go over and beyond for their guests. The whole hotel is beautiful, clean and well maintained as well...

...We have stayed in the Hayfield before and it was amazing this time was even better. Its so clean, staff are truly amazing people always in great form and so helpful... The rooms are just heavenly, clean comfortable and definitely worthy of a 5 star badge... Accommodation staff are well worth a mention and most importantly compliments to the chef and his team of chefs and kitchen staff along with waiters/waitresses...

...We recently spent 4 lovely nights at the Hayfield Manor and without a doubt it was our favourite hotel during our Irish adventure! From the time we arrived to when we left we were treated so well be all the stellar staff... The bellmen welcomed us heartily and made us feel at home... The concierge, Frank, was such a nice fellow and so helpful with planning what to do and where to go... The staff throughout the hotel were kind, friendly and very helpful... We stayed in Room 8 which had three large windows providing lots of light and was very generously sized with a fantastic large bathroom... Great amenities and lovely walk in shower with a large bath too... Daily breakfast was delicious as was dinner in the casual dining room... The lobby with its roaring fire was a beautiful place to sit and listen to the pianist in the evening... Its location just a short walk from the centre of town is perfect...

We arrived by taxi from the train station and the bellhop was there immediately to get our luggage... When we entered our room, there was a tray on one of the beds with a bag of Irish potato chips and a large square of dark chocolate with an image of Hayfield Manor... The little putting green was fun!... We stayed 2 nights and breakfast was included in our stay... We felt very pampered by the dining room staff and were pleased with the choices on the menu... The breakfast bar was nice with fresh fruit, juices, gluten free choices, sweet breads and scones... The vegetarian among us had the avocado with toast both mornings and was very happy... Nice to have a pot of tea or coffee on the table... When we enquired about the price of taking the bus to Blarney Castle, the front desk was very helpful and even gave us change for the bus... We liked the aviary outside the main entrance... Right across the street from the university and an easy 15 minute walk to downtown and the shops and restaurants... The service at Hayfield Manor exceeds anything I’ve run into before and I hope to be back someday to this beautiful place...
