We have stayed in the Hayfield before and it was amazing this time was even better. Its so clean, staff are truly amazing people always in great form and so helpful. The rooms are just heavenly, clean comfortable and definitely worthy of a 5 star badge. Accommodation staff are well worth a mention and most importantly compliments to the chef and his team of chefs and kitchen staff along with waiters/waitresses
Just returned from a spa break. We had never stayed in Hayfield Manor. From the moment we approached the front door we were given such a warm reception. The attention to detail was splendid. We had Spa Treatments booked for early morning & the facilities were superb. The Massage treatments were far superior to other hotels. The outdoor jacuzzi was unreal in the crisp January air, just what we needed with all the restrictions in the past 2 years. The sauna, the steamroom, the swimming pool, the leisure centre every facility was flawless. We ate in the Manor Bar in the afternoon, soup & bread just what you need in the middle of the day yet saving oneself for dinner in the evening. The ambiance in the foyer was so relaxing, a roaring fire in the corner, plenty alcoves for guests to relax & enjoy the pianist. Many hotels could learn from you. The dinner last evening in the Orchid Restaurant was such a fantastic experience. You had a new 8-course menu and we were only expecting a 4-course. Each and every course was beautiful, great credit to the chef. All dietary restrictions were catered for at ease. The sommelier who helped us with the excellent choice of wine was brilliant at his job. We should have purchased a few bottles to bring home!. The rooms were so richly furnished, the bathroom was truly impeccable. Everything was included and more. Absolute luxury & the beds were spacious. Staff could not have done anything more. The breakfast menu was far superior to anything we have ever experienced in other hotels in all our years of travelling. The top accolade has to go to the concierge, Frank. He was super vigilant. Nothing was too much. He could read one's mind, from time of entry to time of exit. Luggage being delivered to the room, anything that was needed he just made it seem effortless. His name was Frank. Take a bow. We certainly will be back to stay in Hayfield Manor Hotel, yours has to be the BEST hotel stay ever. It was flawless. We will recommend you to all our friends & family. You deserve every award available. Well done to each & every single member of your staff.…
I’m just home from the beautiful Hayfield Manor. We never stayed before, but frequently go for lunch and afternoon tea. You can often find me chatting to the most professional John in the bar on a morning in the winter where I sit by the fire. Last afternoon we were met by the cheerful lovely Frank and brought to our rooms, and everything was perfect- our meals, treatments in the Spa, with staff totally lovely and caring for our every need. I’m looking forward to my next stay- hopefully at Christmas time! Totally recommend to those who want subtle elegance and the best Halibut in town!❤️
This has always been one of our favourite hotels in Cork , indeed in Ireland. It’s an expensive hotel, bed and breakfast for two nights almost thirteen hundred euro . However, on this occasion visit wasn’t as smooth as previous visits The problem was food in The Orchids poor enough. Same with breakfast, eggs Benedict done perfectly but the muffin really poor quality. Even the cereal seemed poor quality. Definitely short staffed, mind you that’s a common theme now in hospitality. I think we will somewhere else when in Cork again.
Hayfield Manor well worth a visit if intending to stay in Cork. Very centra and most friendly experience. Will most certainly stay again! Dining experience quite sublime with lovely food, efficient and friendly staff.
This was our third time staying at Hayfield Manor and yet again it was a wonderful trip. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the restaurants excellent.
Stayed in Hayfield Manor for a few days and it was a super location to explore Cork city which was about 20mins walk away and also easy to reach by the city bus. Very spacious room, very friendly staff and lovely tranquil location
The staff are quite simply exceptional in all areas, a genuine friendliness with attention to detail. Both restaurants served wonderful food and the breakfasts were excellent. The rooms were well appointed and the bed very comfortable.
really bad service at the reception, rude, not listening to our needs and gave us the wrong room and we had to complain and they never said sorry. They seem to treat the locals better than tourists. Not sure why it was designated as a five star hotel.
We are just home from a nights in Hayfield Manor, from the moment we arrived we were greeted by friendly and helpful staff members in particular Frank and Ellie both went above and beyond to make our stay that extra bit special! We ate in Orchids restaurant, the food was delicious and we had a few drinks in the bar where staff were very attentive. The pool and spa treatments were also amazing! Thank you Hayfield Manor !!
