Beautiful food, cooked and presented to perfection, but a tad pricey. Staff were very friendly and courteous. In a beautiful setting within Cork city, with exotic poutry outside, and plenty of parking.

Hotel's Favorite
I regularly stay at Hayfield Manor and make now pretence to be anything other than a fan. When I learned that it would reopen after several months of Covid-19 lock down, I booked for the first night. While some extra health and safety measures are obvious, the welcome is as warm as ever, the service just as attentive, the decor consistently beautiful and the ambiance both comfortable and decadent. While the smiles may be from behind plastic visors, Hayfield Manor is still flawless. From Frank and Michael’s friendly greeting at the door (and theIr “nothing is too much trouble” attitude is still apparent). The whole experience is both reassuringly safe, and reassuringly familiar. The best.

The staff were brilliant, really friendly, personable, polite & the best part of the experience. They made us feel very welcome & comfortable despite all the preventative measures required due to Covid-19 & our first stay away from home since the pandemic hit. It was to be our only holiday of the year (a brief 3-day staycation) so we wanted to go somewhere that would make best us of our limited time - Hayfield surpassed expectations! Well done to all the staff!

Nestled in the heart of Cork city, arriving thru the gates of Hayfield Manor is like stepping through a porthole. Away from the busy streets of Cork city yet right in the middle of the city, Hayfield Manor is a step away and into a world of relaxation second to none. The impeccably kept grounds that welcome you to the Manor give a true sense of anticipated relaxation, the typical Cork welcome by the doorman reinforces this. The building itself is beautifully furnished in traditional style while still being fit for it purpose of hospitality. Check-in was quick and efficient, and the room was very well presented. Only downside was the Shower/ Bath facility in the Bathroom which needs to be upgraded to modern walk in shower rather than the old shower over bath. The bar and restaurant facilities were excellent, and the staff were second to none. The staff’s knowledge was impeccable regarding the food they were serving both on content and cooking methods which made the whole dining experience wonderful. Also, the staff were happy to relate what dishes on the menu were new and the fact that they were interested in feedback regarding them. Simply put the dining experience was wonderful. Overall, our two-night stay was very enjoyable, made so by the wonderful staff who did everything to make it so and make sure guests were kept as safe as possible during the pandemic.
