Nice basic accommodation with everything included. Big living room with couch and a TV, and a basic bedroom that was ensuite. It's about a twenty minute walk into town along a main road which is also convenient. Only fault is that is was an extremely cold weekend that we stayed outside and the room was very cold. We turned on...

Myself and two friends stayed in Cork this past weekend at the Killarney Guest House. None of us know the area well and did not know what to expect. When we arrived to the Guest House we were greeted by welcoming staff - especially Margaret. She welcomed us in and took us to our room. To our pleasant surprise we...

My friends and I stayed at the Killarney guest house during our weekend in Cork. The staff was very kind and helpful. We arrived earlier than check out and they held our bags happily and safely for us so we could explore the city. The room and facilities were clean and comfortable. Would recommend, all around great stay!

Places like this should not be allowed to survive. Musty dirtly, pokey old house with terrible facilities. Broken shower and cigarette burns everywhere. The place really needs a facelift,it's like a bad acid trip from the 1970's. I was expecting a "Here's Johhny" for breakfast. Staff looked overworked and underpaid and the manageress/owner is an experience in itself. Was not cheap...

We stayed here for 2 nights. They have two guest houses next to each other, some rooms with baths. Our first night was a large room at the front and was affected by road noise. The staff were very pleasant and moved us to a rear room which was quiet and comfortable. Basic breakfast. Only a short walk from pubs...

Our room was upgraded to the building next door to the reception. It was very clean and proper, with a good shower. Cork is an interesting city within walking distance of Killaney Guest House. Across the road from the guest house is the University. The grounds are beautiful and was one of my favourite visits.

I stayed here the night before my graduation and I was immediately made to feel welcome. Fantastic rooms with very friendly staff. The manager was very warm and friendly and I could have talked to her all day (she even took the time to give me some career advice which was very helpful). On top of this the place is...

We were warmly welcomed at the arrival but when we saw the room, it was not fitting the pictures and description on their website. Old room, badly soundproofed, noisy bathroom with sanitary in poor conditions and expensive breakfast. Worst, when we left next day, we were really badly received by a cleaning lady and decided to leave without breakfast. I...

I stayed here for one night to be close to Cork university- in an excellent location about 5 mins away. There was parking on site which was ideal as parking is very expensive otherwise. I was also able to leave my car there the next day until I was finished. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating- lovely breakfast. I...
