Room is a suite, clean. It is turned down daily. Suite includes bathroom (shower, sink, toilet). More than spacious for one person. Very convenient in that a fridge/freezer is in the room as well as a working stovetop with a stocked cabinet of pots/pans, plates/utensils. Free wi-fi, strong signal in room. Stayed over a week at 79Euro/night. The staff and... More

Stayed at the Killarney guest house the middle of August price was 98euro for room with breakfast which was grand. Lady was very nice and friendly. Everything was great till we got to our room.It was on the small side but very dated.the bathroom was so small that you had a sliding concertina door that didn't close properly and you... More

when we checked the credit card machine was not working and we had to use cash! We were put into an apartment type room which was nice but the bed was uncomfortable. It was a rather bit of a distance to the city center. The buildings were a little run down, needs some upgrades. We asked if we could just... More

Don't be put off by the appearance - Staff were really friendly . We stayed in the adjoining property on the ground floor . The room was comfortable although the bed springs needed a little oil ! Breakfast service was a little chaotic but it was great that it was all cooked to order . It was good value .

We stayed here for 2 nights during a quick trip to sLutheran Ireland. The room was large and very clean although the ensuite was a bit small. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and we were well looked after by staff. The owner, Margeret, was lovely and very helpful. I would recomend it to anyone looking for a convenient stopover.... More

My daughter, future son in law and I spent the night here whilst sorting out last minute details of their forthcoming wedding. It is situated opposite The University of Cork and is about a 10-15 minute walk from the city centre. We were given a large room with an en-suite shower and toilet that suited us very well. The room... More

We were only in Cork for one night. We were a family of 4 traveling together so it was nice to find a room that accommodated all of us. It was a comfortable room. It had a small bathroom but we did not need a lot of space. What was great about this place was the location. It was across... More

The place is nice enough, located about 15 minutes walk from Cork City centre. The rooms are basic with a TV from a while ago with very select channels - maybe it's just me or I thought that the equivalent of free view was supposed to be EU wide? Decor is a bit tired, walls yellowing and things like that.... More

We arrived in cork on a long weekend and hadn't made any reservations, so we were really happy that the Killarney house had a room at all. We ended up being put up in the Crawford house. Our room was a decent size and our bathroom was quite large. It was all very stuffy and outdated though. The toilet had... More
