The hotel itself is ideally located within a short walk to the centre. The room was spacious, clean and warm. However problems began after check out. I left something behind in the room which was of value to me. As soon as I noticed it was missing I contacted the hotel only to be told it was nothing to do with... More

Good location not to far from main downtown strips. Great Breakfast. Rooms are not bad but have no AC so can get warm. Front desk staff are mostly nice and breakfast was good. Information center in lobby to help you see whats going on around town.

Hotel is in a nice location, close to the city centre. Reception staff were friendly on check-in however, I was extremely disappointed with the room appearance. Didn't resemble photographs in any shape or form. Seemed like this part of the hotel hadn't been refurbished. Curtains were faded, carpet seemed old and had an iron burn on it, double bed was... While on a short break in Cork City my wife and I stayed in the Maldron Hotel. The Hotel is situated in the City and it was as we expected, quite central. Travellers who come by car to the hotel should note that the car parking space is small and it is very difficult to get a space. There is... More

Conveniently located up-hill Cork city center, well equipped room and in-house restaurant-pub. Could have been disappointed that pool was not functioning during my stay but did not expect to find gym and pool so did not bring outfit...

I felt €129, room only, for a twin room was too much and made that known when they told me (slightly apologetically) the extra charge for breakfast. Hotel is a little off the beaten track but the room had a nice view of Cork City. Room was clean and breakfast buffet was very nice. I went to pay the extra... More

So, I give this place 3/5 dots. Here's why... Cons: In our room, the cold water spigot didn't work, and the window didn't close. There was a 6in smear of mildew/mold on the tile near the ceiling in the shower. The neighboring church had some weird intermittent bell ringing that could only be described as amateur hour-skill at best (sometimes... More

Very nice hotel, staff very friendly, room a very good size with tea and coffee fertilities, the bathroom was large and catered for all our needs. In a very good location near to the town. We managed to get a parking place at the hotel but best to make sure you are there early to get one

Just got back from spending 4 nights in cork and whilst the city and the places to visit were great, I've been to better hotels. The staff on reception when we arrived got our payment wrong and were rude whilst trying to sort it out and the room wasn't great either - travelodge do it better on both. But the... More

We stayed in this hotel in December 14 and it was going through a refurbishment. We were impressed enough to return with our daughter and son.in law. The refurbishment is now complete and have to say it's made a big difference. Rooms big and bathrooms top quality. However the prices have risen to reflect this . The one complaint I... More
