The location is great for this hotel (ladies, when going on a night out, bring flat shoes for the walk up the hill). The wifi is excellent which is always important. I managed to mess up my booking on the day I was due to arrive and the staff were absolutely brilliant and sorted everything out for me in minutes....

We spent a night at the Maldron Hotel in Cork. It is a fairly rated 3 star hotel, well situated with city centre shopping, pubs and entertainment close by. The staff are friendly and the hotel is clean. Tips for an enhanced experience include bigger towels (towels are hand towel size) and softer pillows. Otherwise good value.

Room was ok-good location and staff were friendly. Residents Bar was closed when we got back to hotel, Breakfast wasn't included and we felt that room was very expensive (€169) not for it to be included.

This was our first time in Cork. We didn't know anything about the city, what hotel to choose or where to go. It turned out that we made a perfect choice. This hotel has a wonderful SPA with a swimming pool for adults and a little swimming area for kids, a Jacuzzi, a steam room and a sauna. Yes, we...

The new Maldron Hotel in the heart of Cork City has a wonderful location, close to all key sites of the city; has staff that would bend over backwards to assist customers but once you hit the first floor and above, the wide corridors and other features give away the fact that the hotel was originally the Cork North Infirmary....

Dear Genezanno, Thank you for taking the time to review your stay. Yes, the Maldron Hotel Cork certainly has a unique history as the old North Infirmary! However, three of the floors are an extension solely built for the purpose of the hotel. These rooms are also located to the back of the hotel and hoepfully would be more suitable...
