Excellent for a family stay. Helpful staff, excellent food (particularly the breakfast) and we all had a great time. Staff went out of their way to help us and made a fuss of the kids. Great location also and pool a great bonus

We had a newly renovated room which was nice. It was crammed with furniture so it made it difficult for us to move around. The view was the air conditioners😞. Ok hotel for one night in Cork. Staff was pleasant and accommodating.

Stayed 3 nights at the Maldron. A pleasant hotel which is in a handy location for walking into Cork centre. Reception area, bar and restaurant are attractively decorated. Our room 405 was disappointingly a little worn and dated and in need of refurbishment but despite this it was not unpleasant. We found all staff to be efficient and and helpful... More

The Maldron is a big, clean hotel along American lines. The room we stayed in was well-decorated with 3m ceilings and the beds were comfy (we shared a triple single room because they had no family rooms left). The bathroom was nearly as big as the bedroom. Note that the bath has a showerhead fitted that can't be raised or... More

Where do I even start... Firstly, I booked this hotel based on their new website showing a beautiful and newly refurbished hotel. Upon checking in I made my way to my room only to realise that they had been very selective with their photography. I had an old, terribly worn down room with a view onto a concrete wall (see... We had a 2 day stay in the Maldron hotel. Just recently refurbished, we had a beautiful family room, very clean and spacious with view of the city. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our son also enjoyed the kids club and swimming pool. Ideal family hotel.

We stayed for four nights from August 13 2016 on a deal that included one dinner and entry to the Fota wildlife park. Check-in was friendly and efficient, we were given our voucher and made to feel welcome. The reception is bright, clean and modern. Our room was unusual, I booked for three people, my wife and I, and our... More

My family stayed at the Maldron for three nights as part of a road trip in Ireland. Overall, we had a decent stay with some negatives. On the night we arrived, there was a wedding taking place. That made it very hard to have room to check in and park as the parking area is extremely limited. Our room -... More

We stayed in the Maldron on Saturday night as we were visiting Spike Island on Sunday. We will certainly to back again as it is an ideal base for visiting Cork City. It was a pity it was a flying visit this time but we will certainly to back to explore Cork further and will be staying at the Maldron.... More
