The reviews of this place are very modest compared to the reality of how good this place is! Its a wonderful, homely family run local bar and guest house. The welcome was fantastic and I was very impressed with the quality of the rooms. If anyone like a really powerful shower -

After a day at Blarney Castle and staying at the Blarney Woolen Mills, we went out to check out a local pub. Musketry Arms was within walking distance of our hotel. We were hoping to hear some music, but it was a Monday and we lucked out, but we got way more than we bargained

3 of us dined on sandwiches ( Toasted) and chips ( in a unique little deep fat fryer basket) and they were excellent. We we're served by Hilary, who was brilliant - highly efficient and great sense of humour. Unfortunately one of our party had a fall and I was most impressed

Aidan, thank you very much for taking the time to write your kind review. Your wife Ann was very good to ring us and keep us informed as we were concerned about Des but we were very pleased to hear that he is making a good recovery. It was an unfortunate thing to happen especially so close to Christmas but we were happy to be able to come to your assisstance. We are indeed very lucky to live in such a friendly village with wonderful staff and guests and I will be delighted to pass on your kind words to Jerome, Hilary and Pat. Please give our very best to Des and we hope to see you all again in 2019. Kind Regards Ruth O Connor

I spent 2 nights here recently in what seemed to be a newly built or renovated accommodation wing, above the main bar. The room was big but cold on arrival. To be fair, the heating came on shortly after and seemed to stay on for the duration. I slept well enough despite a slight

Thank you very much for your review. I am pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us especially your meals and the friendly service. With regards to breakfast guests do have the option of adding breakfast to their room rate, it only costs an extra €5 pp which is excellent value as this includes a hot breakfast cooked to order as well as full access to the breakfast buffet. To answer your query regarding the bedrooms, our kitchen is at the back of the building but all of our bedrooms are at the front of the building overlooking our beautiful village green. Kind Regards Ruth O Connor

Stayed 3 nights in September. A very busy pub with a great atmosphere and the rooms above. There are quite a few stairs but you'll always find someone to help with your luggage. Meals can be had in the bar or the restaurant and are tasty and reasonably priced. The room was

Thank you very much for your review, we work hard to try to ensure that our guests enjoy their stay with us and we genuinely appreciate all feedback both positive and negative as it helps us to identify our guests needs, and areas where we need to make improvements. I appreciate you saying that you were pleased with the accomodation, meals and location and that you enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and service but I do completely understand your frustration regarding the plumbing and door lock issues. These issues have now been rectified, thank you for bringing them to my attention. Kind Regards Ruth O Connor
