We were coming to Blarney to visit the castle with some friends who were visiting us. I saw the Groupon for the afternoon tea and figured it would be a nice way to start our visit to Blarney. The staff was very pleasant when booking over the phone (do make sure to call ahead as

How far us St.Patrick st. From the hotel? Is it walking distance? If not are there taxi or bus or maybe uber?
I don’t agree with the comments that Blarney isn’t a good base to see cork city. It is a short bus ride for cork city it’s 9km 6 miles . A 13 min taxi ride @ €10 . But is I’m not sure but I think €3/4 . It’s a secure ,safe quite area for a good night s rest .
