On entering the reception area it looks warm and inviting, the receptionists did come across confident to me. Our bedroom was fine, single pane windows and basic enough. Getting to sleep was challenging as there was a party downstairs and our room felt like it was right next door as it was so loud. If we were informed about the party... More

Visited the Pub at Blarney Woollen Mills beside their spectacular shop yesterday for lunch. We had two bowls of Ballycotton seafood chowder with brown bread. The soup was thick with sauce and huge chunks of tasteless salmon, it was served 'warm' with two slices of brown bread which were stale. The eating experience was disgusting, the ambiance requires a.total upgrading... More

Staff very friendly and helpful. So close to Blarney Castle and stone that any stress about getting there was relieved. Loved shopping at the Mills as well. Again the friendliness of all was greatly appreciated. Geraldine assisted us as we shopped. At the hotel bar Connor taught us a lot about Guinness, Beavis and Murphy's. Plus he taught us how... Very nice. The hotel has character, shopping, food and drink. Clean and comfortable. Tour buses this time of year. No complaints. This is not a quaint place. It is a sizable location with a huge shopping establishment.

We stayed here for a quick stop prior to Blarney Castle the next day. Hotel is in excellent condition and very modern. We were a large group and they had everything prepared for us when we arrived. Very convenient for visiting the castle and Woolen Mills.

Family get away for a christening. Hotel was great with lovely rooms and very spacious area for christening party with extremely comfortable seats, food in abundance and very tasty. Staff very friendly and if that wasnt enough the weather was glorious which enhanced the surroundings. Would definitely recommend a visit to hotel and woollen mills shop beside it.

I was with a tour group - and we stayed the night in this hotel. It was a great hotel, and they served a wonderful breakfast. It doesn't serve super, but there are many pubs within walking distance. It was very clean, more than enough hot water, and a great soaking tub! The beds were comfortable; we slept like babies.

We stopped for one night and it was comfortable. Can't understand why there are no fans when it gets so stuffy. There is no top sheet either. Restaurant is good and Blarney Castle is right there. Loved going to the store to shop for wool sweaters next door!
