I stayed at Lis Ardagh with two friends for only one night, after a few days in Cork City. We had the family room which has an ensuite. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, we all slept very well and there is wifi. Jim and Carol were very friendly and welcoming and breakfast was delightful, served in the conservatory.... Thanks Jim and Carol. The whole family really enjoyed our stay. The full Irish breakfast was absolutely gorgeous and the adjoining room for us all was perfect! The nicest B&B we've ever stayed in... We will be back for sure!...ask Jim to show you their amazing stone in the beautiful gardens!!!!

Don't think it gets better than this. Very comfortable, clean rooms with nicely appointed bathrooms. Some very useful 2+1 rooms for families. Very quiet setting off the N71 in Union Hall within walking distance of the village. The guesthouse is set in a lovingly maintained garden. Free working Wifi. Excellent breakfast whether the full Irish or yogurt and cereal. Lots... More

We had a wonderful 2 night stay. Everything was more than we expected, from the size of the room to the excellent breakfasts. Jim and Carol are gracious hosts, phoning locally for us when our plans to go sea-kayaking were in question. They promptly called and checked for us, and again later. Some of my family came from not too... More

My wife & I stayed for one night in this beautiful guest house. Carol & Jim are wonderful hosts and the house and gardens are fantastic. The pancakes for breakfast are a must! The surroundings are very peaceful and only a 5 min walk down to Union Hall village. Highly recommended!!

My wife and I stayed with Carol and Jim at Lis Ardagh Lodge last weekend and loved it. They are a very engaging and welcoming couple and we thoroughly enjoyed meeting them and staying in their lovely B&B. Their garden is an added bonus and clearly a labour of love! We look forward to another visit in the future.

Have just spent two nights at the lodge. It's located just outside Union Hall village on the side of a hill with great views out across a very well maintained garden towards the sea in the distance. It's ideally situated to explore all of Cork County. We were greeted on arrival by Carol who gave us a quick guided tour... More

We arrived mid afternoon and was greeted by the owner who lived next door and ran the B&B. To took us in for a cup of tea and told us everything we needed to know about where to visit, what to see and what to look out for. He was so interesting and caring. His wife then returned from shopping... More
