Visited this hotel twice during the All Ireland Fleadh being hosted in Ennis (August 20th weekend) and must say the hotel was not ready for the event. While I ate there on both days I must say the food was good but service at the food counter was very slow. Seemed as if the staff had to go into the... More

This was our second time staying here. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The kids enjoyed the pool and it was always well supervised. We had an evening meal in the restaurant which was lovely and there was plenty of choice at breakfast. The hotel has lots of parking and is within easy reach of Ennis. I would agree... More

Booked into this hotel for opening night of Fleadh Cheoil. Lovely welcoming staff. Our room was spotless and comfortable, had everything we needed. We had breakfast the following morning with a great selection of really nice food. I would definitely return to this hotel.

Stayed here a month ago and it was fine but needs updating. The sleep quality perfect as we had room at the back, that was after walking forever to get to it. The hotel reception and rooms are fine but corridors and stairs are held in a time warp. Food in the restaurant was fine, breakfast was ok too. Staff uniforms... More

Can't fault the Auburn Lodge, this was my third time to stay in this hotel. Bar food is nice and always order breakfast to the room with no major issues. Hotel is busy this time of year with coach tours but this didn't bother me. Short taxi ride into town.

We stayed here on a recent trip to Ennis and we were happy enough with the hotel. We share the sentiments of other reviews that the hotel is in dire need of a refit. For the most part these were all cosmetic issues, ie, the ancient TV still worked fine, the dated wardrobes/drawers worked fine etc One exception to this... More

Stayed as part of an organised tour. Double bed and single bed in room. one chair?? CRT (not flat screen) TV - they haven't been available for 10 years. Very very dated. Really old (not ornate) furniture. The images available are far from what we were offered.

Central hotel, clean rooms, very quiet. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was freshly cooked, the scones and homemade brown bread were so good. No need to drive around the town as so close to the centre.
