Lovely location. Nice clean rooms. Friendly staff. Amazing pub food. Overall a very pleasant hotel and good value for money. Aberfoyle where the Inn is loacated is very scenic. I stayed there with a number of friends and all seemed pleased. As to the pub food it is homemade and truly delicious. The full Scottish breakfast is included and excellent.

A group of us popped in for a drink one evening during our stay at Aberfoyle. It was a charming and cosy country pub with lots of character and very welcoming. Would certainly return if staying in the area again.

I and three others arrived at the Forth Inn today Monday the 26th Sept, we were perhaps a little early for morning coffee but were received with a very warm welcome from the landlady and her husband and very friendly brown dog, we were served the great coffee and a plate of biscuits, the atmosphere was lovely traditional pub with... Popped in for some food after a very long day walking - we definitely got our energy back after eating here! Delicious pub food and very good portion sizes, highly recommend the pie with a side of haggis! Staff were very friendly with very quick service. Can't comment on the accommodation but judging by the bar/restaurant area it seems fine... More

We stayed for one night, the room was cozy and there was a generous bathroom. We had a great view over the Main Street and at night it is silent so no trouble sleeping. They offer a Scottish breakfast which was delicious and we had a few drinks in the bar as well before bed. Perfect for a short stay... More

The Forth Inn is an old pub in the centre of aberfoyle, a great base for exploring the Trossaks. It has many good qualities. All the staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. The food is typical pub food, but very well cooked. The room was quite large, but the verylarge bed and quite large heavy furniture somewat... More

Attended this quaint inn a couple of weeks ago and to be honest we did enjoy our time there however the one thing we were annoyed with were when we tried to order some food we were told they had stopped even though we were still in the allotted time on all the posters. We ordered some more drinks 20... More

I'd like to start this review with a massive thank you to all the staff at the Forth Inn for making the whole weekend a memorable one; it was fantastic! We had booked all the rooms for the Friday through to Monday morning for the majority of the close family, which also included kids. Nothing was too much trouble and... More

Love the food here - visited twice and each time ordered the salmon (beautiful) and apple crumble (amazing - and big - can share a serve!). Was on a large table both times for family dinners, and both times everyone loved their meals. Would definitely recommend.

We often eat in the Forth on the evening and it is always something special. We decided to have breakfast here yesterday as it was a rather dreich day in the trossach's. We both had the full cooked breakfast and it was just lovely . The poached eggs were perfect and the bacon, sausage and haggis were so tasty. I... More
