Just returned from yet another excellent coach trip with Lochs and Glens. This time we stayed at the Loch Achray Hotel in Aberfoyle which, although not as swish as their flagship hotel, the Ardgartan, where we stayed the first time we took a trip with them, was nevertheless very clean and comfortable. The food was very tasty and we enjoyed... More

We've had a wonderful holiday at Lochs & Glens Hotel Achray. Stunning views over the fields, with Loch Achray just in front. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, want fresh milk, just ask and it was delivered. Dashed back in to get my jacket, a member of staff ran to our room and got it for me. The... More

Hotel clean but a little dated. Hotel room clean but tv was a late 80's model screen so small half of the picture was missing. Meals were adequate and hot. Staff very friendly and polite. View from front of hotel very nice. But hotel is miles from other locations.

Just returned from a lovely week with Lochs and Glens holidays and this was our hotel for the duration. Our room was great with a view over the loch not to mention a view of the field with Highland cattle in. The hotel was well run by Elaine and Ashley and the young men and women who served in the... We stayed here on a Lochs and Glens coach holiday. There is a good choice of food in the evening and it well presented and swiftly served. Breakfast too is quickly and efficiently served, with the option to choose a full breakfast or a 'mighty' Scottish breakfast complete with black pudding and haggis. On the last morning of our stay... We thoroughly enjoyed our recent 4 night stay at this well-kept, well-run hotel. The staff were unfailingly friendly, efficient and very well-trained to provide a high standard of service. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent, with a good range of choices for each course. We enjoyed the nightly entertainment after dinner.

Firstly no matter what I say here please believe me when I say myself & my wife loved it. The coach arrived well on time, it was 1 year old and extremely pleasant. The driver was Ian who seemed good. However we had a relief driver for 2 days called Brian, he made Ian look very average. Brian was much... More

We travelled with a coach group for the 6 day National Trust visits and we were not disappointed! Clean, well run and lovely staff with good food. Excellent value for what we paid! Entertainment low key but enjoyed by some who like dancing! Some rooms in need of upgraiding but understand thus hotel will be refurbished in the near future.... More
