Cara & David run this lovely B&B just outside Aberfoyle and offer a warm personal welcome. Very comfortable rooms with super views of an adjacent loch and pukka full Scottish breakfast. I heartily recommend Creag-Ard House.

We spent two nights here and it is just a stunning b&b. The view from our room looked straight over Loch Ard and was the picture of serenity itself. Brilliant breakfast (smoked haddock on offer) and a very friendly welcome. No tv in room and internet pretty dodge in room, (was quite nice to be cut off from the world... More

Very grand house with large traditional rooms. Good location for various walks around the area. Peaceful surroundings. The owners are very welcoming and helpful. Nice breakfast. Lots of space to park. Dog friendly ;-) We would definitely return.

Creag-Ard House is a lovely Victorian house set on the shore of Loch Ard with stunning view of Ben Lomond from our bay window (room 1). I particularly liked the fact that there was no TV in our room because you don't get distracted by news or reality TV and instead take in the peaceful view and slower pace of... More

A lovely quiet house overlooking Loch Ard, with large grounds and good car parking, about 1.25 miles outside Aberfoyle. Warm welcome from Cara, with very helpful recommendations for walks, restaurants etc., including making a reservation for us. Stayed two nights. We had a large room overlooking the loch, with two armchairs in the window, large bathroom with bath and shower,... More

This Victorian house reminds you of what living must have been like one hundred years ago. No TV, no radio, little in terms of modern amenities. But all of this is forgotten ( and appreciated) because the place is full of charm and gentleness. Decoration is done with taste. The surroundings are magic, with loch Ard on the doorstep. Walks... We had the 2 rooms overlooking Loch Ard and enjoyed the stunning view for 2 days. The homemade breakfast is delicious - best scones ever and the favorite breakfast of our Scotland tour. Cara is a lovely host. The location is ideal, both very quiet and close to outstanding sites (Lake of Mentith, Loch Lomond, Stirling Castle,...). Our children loved... More

Only positive feedback on this B&B, where Cara will take care of you the best possible way with excellent advice, very good breakfast and lovely rooms. Our rooms had a superb view on the Loch and Aberfoyle is very well situated to go to Lake Katerine. An address I recommend.

Had 2 fantastic nights at Creag Ard. Wonderful location on the banks of Loch Ard. We had room 3 which overlooked the small car park / garden. Not the best of views, but the room was very clean and cosy. The downstairs lounge was a nice place to relax and the Scottish breakfast was really tasty. The B&B is about... More

A wonderful relaxing B&B with stunning views. Such a tranquil location, yet well placed to see the local sights. Even if you aren't lucky to get a room with a loch view, there is a comfortable guest lounge which has a picture window which over looks the loch. Breakfast is fabulous too which sets you up for the day.
