I was attending a wedding in Ayr with my husband. The location of the travel lodge was very close to the venue and was reasonable priced. There was a restaurant next door which we used for breakfast the next morning. The room was clean and comfortable as was the bed. We had other members of our party staying at the... More

Couldn't fault it. Definitely value for money. One minor complaint about noisy neighbours but was quickly resolved. Ideal location for a day out at Ayr Races. Beds were comfy and rooms were clean. Thanks.

Stayed overnight here as attending a wedding. Be warned!! If you want to check in before 3pm you'll pay £10! Room was spacious, bed comfy. No drawers though, just shelves but depends on how long you base yourself I suppose. No breakfast facilities, althoufh you can buy a box of things for just under £5. Overall, basic, clean.

3 comfortable nights in room 201. After phoning ahead to request a top floor room to avoid noise from people above me, I was thoughtfully allocated this room by its own at the reception end of the corridor. Never heard a thing from other guests. Hotel is superbly located for both road access and bus services. Only minor criticism is... More

Stayed for 4 nights on our annual trip to the Scottish Bowls championships and I couldn't fault the hotel. A couple of years ago the beds were pretty uncomfortable but these are all now replaced and are very comfortable indeed. Great value for money, as long as you book well in advance

Attended last night to stay over for a nearby function. On arriving on handing us the keys the receptionist said 'welcome folks, you are in room 1. It's the worst room in the hotel. Right next to the lift and across from the laundry room and the hotel is full of bowlers tonight and is full so everyone walks past... More

I booked three double rooms for 6 people. We all had the same experience, very basic rooms. Large and spacious, but lacking in facilities. There was only one chair in each room, despite being double rooms. And no drawers. Only a long counter top on which the tea/coffee facilities and the TV sat. with a bit of space for a... More

We have stayed in quite a few Travelodges. This is one of the best we have encountered. Good, clean and pleasant staff. The bonus here is a Frankie & Bennie's next door for dinner and a Greggs at the side for breakfast!
