This was the 3rd time that myself and my partner have stayed at Jac Mar, and to be honest, It certainly wont be the last. Arriving at the B&B is like visiting family, Anne, Jeroen and young Joshua make sure that your stay is a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The B&B is ideally situated within the town centre, and everything...

We arrived on the train so JacMar was really well placed for the station and only a short walk from the town and the beach. The room was lovely and a good size for two, with a tasty selection of biscuits! Ann and Jeroen looked after us so well for the five nights, even letting us use the dining room...

I had an excellent two night stay at The Jac-Mar. Travelling on one's own can be a bit daunting, but on my arrival I was very warmly greeted by Anne, this was after a nice courtesy telephone call a few days earlier. I was given a tour of the house, and shown to my room. It was perfect for my...

I booked this B&B for my parents as a gift for my Mum's 70th birthday. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners who decorated the room with flowers/balloons and even sent me photos on their arrival date. According to my parents, the B&B is tastefully decorated and the breakfast was excellent quality. The decor was lovely and the room...

The hosts were excellent and nothing was to much trouble for them very friendly and gave me a warm welcome. Would stay again and enjoyed my stay there and it was also excellent value for money. Room with 3 twin beds and ensuite bath a bit tight, but suited our needs. Delicious breakfast and very personable owners. Location ideal as a short walk to rail station, bus station, shopping and the beach. We would most certainly stay here again and have recommended it to friends who live in Ayr.

The house was decorated beautifully and was so clean and...

I needed a place to get ready for a friend's wedding and to sleep over after the celebrations. I'd travelled across country on my own and received a nice friendly welcome at 23. The house is lovely, clean and nicely furnished. I stayed in the single room which although small is perfectly big enough for one person. The bed was...
