I've booked based on booking ratings and I wasn't disapointed. We informed the guest house that we would be one hour late and this was not an issue. The owner and the rest of the family were very friendly and the rooms are spottless. The breakfast is great and the location is fantastic. Would have given it a 6/5. Congratulations

Stayed at the Dalshian on our way up to Buckie, Morayshire for our 2 week summer holiday. Just had the one night. Received a very warm welcome. Lovely room on the ground floor. Spotlessly clean. Nice touch of jug of iced water in the room and good quality shower gel/soap in bathroom. The breakfast was to die for - the... More

The home and grounds were very pretty and welcoming. Breakfast was very good and abundant for continental or Scottish items. A beautiful setting just out of town. There is an excellent resturant within walking distance down a quite road.

A beautiful setting for a very comfortable stay. Room was perfect and the breakfast was top notch. Really enjoyed the hosts and their hospitality was great. Very friendly and a great location. They were kind enough to do a small load of laundry for us as the launderette was closed.

Stayed here last week. From ringing door bell until we left after 2 nights we were so pleased with it all. "Mine hosts" were so nice, warm but not intrusive. Heather's touch in bedroom was a delight, just little nice touches. The breakfast would be hard to beat anywhere. Wish we could have had it all, but diet didn't allow.... More

Everything here is excellent. The breakfast is superb and we were even offered a daily special of 2 poached eggs wrapped in smoked salmon. It looked like something out of Masterchef! The room was very clean and well presented with tea/ coffee facilities. fresh fruit and even a flask of ice cold water. The bed was comfortable and there were... More

We highly recommend staying in this guesthouse, the service was fabulous and hosts wonderful. The room was very pretty and well kept, the surrounds peaceful and charming. Although slightly away from the town it is well worth considering as the setting is beautiful and we were made to feel very welcome. The breakfast was the best breakfast I have ever... More

Return to the Dalshian House is always something special for us, feels like going to see an old friend and is just about perfection. Another warm and relaxed welcome from Heather and then time to settle in to one of my favourite places anywhere. The breakfasts on offer at the Dalshian are out of this world and wouldn't be out... Charming building set in beautiful, mature gardens. Tasteful decor which can't help but make you relax and a breakfast menu to rival any I've experienced. The owners Heather and Martin present Dalshain perfectly. Recommended.

lovely bedroom ( the bathroom was very large and beautifully arranged) and excellent breakfast. My husband had a Scottish breakfast, with eggs and black pudding. The table we had was in front of a window on the garden, it was very nice at the beginning of spring., the hostess was very welcoming. A very good place to stay
