Friendly welcome from staff on arrival. Very helpful with regard to local sights and eateries. Lovely room, comfy bed in great period house. Good range of options for breakfast with attentive service. Recommend the porridge!

Extremely friendly hosts, nice and cozy rooms. We walked from Pitlochry station, but I would recommend others to take the bus instead - it will stop right outside the driveway. Hosts were very helpful in regards to how to get around, and even gave us a ride to the train when we left. A+ - Would visit again.

We stopped off here for a (far too fleeting) visit at the end of July. The house itself and beautiful to drive up to and the welcome we received from Heather was incredibly warm. Our room was at the front of the building and flooded with sunlight ( a rare sight in Scotland.. ) It was a stunning room with... More

We stayed here on a busy Saturday night. We had the family room on the top floor which was clean and very comfortable. It had a very friendly feeling and the staff were great. The personal touches were nicely done. The breakfast was brilliant. Hot plates and a great range of dishes. All the produce was locally sourced and fresh.... More

I've booked based on booking ratings and I wasn't disapointed. We informed the guest house that we would be one hour late and this was not an issue. The owner and the rest of the family were very friendly and the rooms are spottless. The breakfast is great and the location is fantastic. Would have given it a 6/5. Congratulations

Stayed at the Dalshian on our way up to Buckie, Morayshire for our 2 week summer holiday. Just had the one night. Received a very warm welcome. Lovely room on the ground floor. Spotlessly clean. Nice touch of jug of iced water in the room and good quality shower gel/soap in bathroom. The breakfast was to die for - the... More

The home and grounds were very pretty and welcoming. Breakfast was very good and abundant for continental or Scottish items. A beautiful setting just out of town. There is an excellent resturant within walking distance down a quite road.

A beautiful setting for a very comfortable stay. Room was perfect and the breakfast was top notch. Really enjoyed the hosts and their hospitality was great. Very friendly and a great location. They were kind enough to do a small load of laundry for us as the launderette was closed.

Stayed here last week. From ringing door bell until we left after 2 nights we were so pleased with it all. "Mine hosts" were so nice, warm but not intrusive. Heather's touch in bedroom was a delight, just little nice touches. The breakfast would be hard to beat anywhere. Wish we could have had it all, but diet didn't allow.... More

Everything here is excellent. The breakfast is superb and we were even offered a daily special of 2 poached eggs wrapped in smoked salmon. It looked like something out of Masterchef! The room was very clean and well presented with tea/ coffee facilities. fresh fruit and even a flask of ice cold water. The bed was comfortable and there were... More
