Stayed in one of the Claymore apartments in July. A very warm welcome from the hosts, and the apartment was amazing. Every mod con, and decorated to an extremely high standard. Was made to feel like a home from home, so really good value for money. I didn't want a to leave. Great base for some stunning walks in the... More

Another great visit to the Claymore. The fantastic welcome from Diane and Graeme sets you up for a great stay. Room 3 with the bay window and fourposter bed will wow any guest as the view is simply breathtaking. Breakfast really does set you up for the day - and is supercharged with Graeme's chat. Already planning when we are... More

We stayed in the self catering apartments behind the guest house as a party of four over two apartments on the same floor. The apartments are finished and furnished to a very high standard. They are beautiful! I was pleasantly surprised to even find a dish washer. Beds were so comfy, everywhere was spotless, the lady owner welcomed us and... More

Fantastic place to stay, huge rooms, wonderful breakfast and a really warm friendly welcome from the owners, staff and of course their lovely dogs. They were also very accommodating as we met up on Sunday with a large group of car enthusiasts and they allowed us to us their car park as our meeting point. thank you so much for... More

Diane and Graeme, and their lovely dogs, Dino and Manny, were incredible hosts. The property is beautiful and comfortable. It has a fantastic location - just a 4-minute walk to the town centre. Their award-winning garden was in full bloom in July. A group of seven, we had four rooms between us. Our rooms were individually decorated, but uniform in... More

The Claymore delivers once again, we come to pitlochry in general to relax and get away from the 'rat-race'. Staying at the claymore guarantees this relaxation. Diane & Graeme are fantastic people and could not be more friendly or accommodating, lovely clean room as always, fantastic breakfasts which set you up for the day, sufficient parking, and friendly staff too... This was a beautiful B&B that we stayed at on our trip through Scotland. It was right on the edge of town and very easy to walk to all of the bars and restaurants in the area. The breakfast was served in a beautiful sun room with so much of a variety of food that you could eat for hours... More

We went to Pitlochry for a wedding of some close friends (more like family) and my wife found The Claymore Guest House via Trip Advisor. The reviews are all worthy of their excellent ratings. We arrived early but parking was not an issue and we were free to wander the town until our rooms were ready. I was driving the... More

I've just spent the night here (booked last minute) what a lovely little place, lovely and quiet and just a short stroll to the town, the staff are amazing and genuinely can't do enough for you, they even made out they were bothered that England lost to Iceland !! If you are ever in this neck of the woods and... More
