We had a lovely stay at East Haugh House, very warm and welcoming and a great location. Dog friendly room and delightful local walks both to Black Spout and the Hermitage. Delicious food and excellent service made for a lovely break away!

We stayed at East Haugh House for one night. We had a wonderful time. Very friendly staff, helpful and easygoing, wonderful delicious food, cosy room. Especially the fire in the lounge and the cocktail made it a very good time.

My husband & I arrived at the bed and breakfast accommodation yesterday, (9th of January 2017). Staying for 2 nights. 1st thing I will review is the location. Depending on your preferred area to stay, some might say the location is not good as it's a bit of a walk from Pitlochry main Street, I say that it is the...

I stayed here with a friend for a weekend away. The staff were welcoming and friendly, it was very nice that they make so much effort and in a very natural way that they seem to be really enjoying their job which is great. The building is beautiful and very smart inside, the decor was very well done and planned...

We visited East Haugh House for 2 nights on a voucher deal in the new year. Despite paying for an upgrade to a deluxe room, we were a bit disappointed with the accommodation and didn't feel that it lived up to the photos shown on the hotel website. Our room was in an annex out of the main building, and...

We come to stay at EHH every year and yet again we were welcomed by the staff, especially by Sophie, daughter of this fine, family run hotel. Though we don't fish or shoot, we love the atmosphere, the friendliness of all at EHH. The food (in bar or restaurant) is fabulous. Neil and Lesley have owned and run EHH for...

Husband and I stayed for one night prior to a day trip. Arrived at 3pm to a warm welcome and shown to our room with real fire and jacuzzi bath. Room was lovely, very cozy and the bed was really comfortable. Both dinner and breakfast were superb, absolutely no negatives would definitely recommend.

Lovely hotel in a lovely area, food was exceptional and staff were top class! Really enjoyed the location and perfect if you are into outdoor activities given the surrounding areas. Close to Pitlochry though far enough away to escape the tourist buzz.

Stayed a couple of nights at the East Haugh House. We were lucky to get a room upgrade. Not only was the room great but the staff as a whole from start to finish were very well mannered and attentive. The food was great and it was only a mile or two outside of Pitlochry itself, meaning we could come...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
East Haugh House is a 4 star luxury boutique hotel based in Pitlochry, Perthshire just 1 hour from Edinburgh and 2 hours from Glasgow. Built originally as part of the Atholl Estate some 350 years ago, this family run hotel is a beautiful, turreted stone house situated off the old A9 road with beautiful woodland walks and easy access to Pitlochry. With 12 individually designed bedrooms, including three deluxe four-poster rooms (one with its own fireplace) and whirlpool bathrooms, along with a private Victorian Gate Lodge, East Haugh House is hailed as one of Scotland’s “hidden gems” with the “best food in the area”. We have a bar and a restaurant where our extensive a la carte menu is served. Be it for romance, culinary indulgence, fishing, shooting, hunting, golf, a wedding to truly remember or simply to escape the stresses of everyday life, use our access to the estates and rivers of Perthshire for a unique getaway in the Scottish highlands. We have access to some of the very best fishing on the river Tay and river Tummel and can book salmon fishing days enabling you to (hopefully!) catch that fish of a lifetime! ... more   less
