This hotel could do with a little bit of TLC. Having said that our stay was perfect we had no complaints. Staff were friendly. Bed was comfortable. Rooms were clean. Two couples, we both had huge rooms with bay window at front. Breakfast was good.

Hotel with lots of character. In process of remodel which it sorely needs. Furniture needs replacing as does carpeting. Clean and nostaligic with comfortable beds and good sized rooms. Nice restaurant for dinner and breakfast was included. Dinner meal was average and breakfast not impressive although alot of food was offered at the buffet. Inexpensive lodging so I guess you... Had a great welcome with a nice glass of whiskey from the reception. The evening meal was lovely and the breakfast although self service was very nice. Would go back anytime to this place. Pitlochry is a lovely town with lots of nice shops to look round a and buy souvenirs.

Staff are very welcoming and friendly. Service in the restaurant was excellent - no delays and the food was well cooked, well presented, fresh and delicious. The breakfast buffet was fantastic- all the food was hot and most importantly fresh. Our room looked as if it had been newly refurbished- spacious, light and airy. All in all an excellent overnight... More

Just back from a stag weekend staying at Fishers hotel. The accommodation was perfect for our needs and the food was great. The hotel has a public bar with live music at the weekends. The staff were are really friendly and helpful. They even gave us a recommendation for another pub to visit. Don't let the fact a stag do... More

My husband and I came here for a light lunch. Plenty of traditional menu options and very pleasant staff. We had paninis and chips which were well presented and tasted great. Sat outside and enjoyed watching Pitlochry pass by. Couldn't fault the food and reasonably priced.

Hi, Just came from an overnight stay at your hotel. Really lovely quaint hotel ! I had one tiny observation. I had room 3. Lovely room apart from colour. Lovely wallpaper - but get rid of the pea green walls ! Also pea green does not go with burgundy carpet and burgundy seats ! It would just bring it right... More

Dear midjlo50. Thank you for your review following your recent stay at Fisher's Hotel. Unfortunately the owner does not allow me to decide on colour schemes for refurbishments. I agree with you and will pass on your comments to him. If he does not listen to me he may listen to you!! I look forward to welcoming you back to... More

I am fairly well traveled and have stayed in a few hotels in my time of varying price points. The fishers is roughly £120 a night and is no where near worth that, this is comparable to a McDonald hotel the decor is not up to scratch , the dinner is meh, the breakfast is a buffet which I was... Dear Icecoldcabbage, I have communicated with you privately regarding your review. In terms of value for money the £120 gave you 2x breakfast 2x dinners 2x arrival drinks 1x prosecco 2 late check outs I am unsure why you don't think this represents value for money, you shouldn't compare deals on various online discount sites. I would like to have... More

The hotel is ideally placed for busses, trains and Pitlochry town. We arrived at 1:30pm and were told in no uncertain terms that rooms were not available till 2:30pm although it said 2 pm on the voucher fair enough, we were early. We asked if we could leave our case and was told to put it under the stairs. I... More
