We were invited to the Atholl Palace Hotel where we were attending my niece's wedding. My husband and I were booked in to the Manor house - a stone's throw from the main hotel. I can't comment on the bedrooms in the main hotel but ours was absolutely great. A lovely big room with everything we needed. Often hotels are...

We visited The Atholl Palace Hotel for our 30th Wedding Anniversary and were more than happy with the reception we received. The hotel is also very impressive from miles away and is near a quaint High St. The grounds surrounding the Hotel are ideal for a romantic stroll, it is very picturesque and we produced many digital memories. Many thanks...

The location and setting of the hotel are absolutely beautiful, and there are several sightseeing opportunities within a short drive of the hotel. Rooms are comfortable, though rather average. The views from the rooms are fantastic. Most of the staff are not very friendly and are indifferent at best. They are not unfriendly, but they also don't go out of...

After a long week at work we decided to go away for a relaxing break and what better than the Atholl Palace in Pitlochry. Beautiful countryside on the doorstep and plenty of relaxation services on offer too, just what we needed. We arrived and were swiftly checked in by the reception staff and given our room. It was only when...

So Atholl isn't actually a palace that nobles once lived in, in fact it was built in the early 1900's but its still really nice. Each room is unique and the beds were clean and comfortable. The complementary dinner was tasty with a variety of selections for any taste. There were a lot of American people there (I'm American so...

This was a two night DB&B treat to ourselves in the last week of May. The hotel is quite extraordinarily imposing. A long climbing driveway leads you to a frontage that seems to overlook most of Perthshire. Do take some of the walks through the elegant gardens, you're sure to be impressed. The Museum in the basement has the hotel...

Our stay at the Atholl Palace was made by the staff. Howard in the restaurant and Leonard who was everywhere made our stay outstanding. The hotel is located in a quiet and beautiful setting. Make sure you dine at this hotel. Food and service are very, very good and not to be missed. The Friendly town of Pitlochry has ample...

The hotel is in a wonderful location, stunning sceneries and a good golf course. Beautiful castle hotel that makes you gasp when you see it first. Inside is a nice traditional hotel, what you would expect from this type of property; however at close inspection the rooms are not very clean and require some TLC. we went for breakfast 10...

Visited the hotel to attend a family wedding. My wife had plugged in her curling tongs when they started flashing. Investigation showed the wall socket was faulty. This instigated further checking of electrical equipment. The two TVs had not been safety checked since 2010 and none of the rest ( iron, hair drier, kettle and lamps had ever been checked...
