Stayed for two nights with Mr& Mrs hunter, Elsie & Alister, we couldn't have been made more welcome. Immediately we'd settled in we were invited to have a cup of tea and and home made shortbread. After having our evening meal at the Red Deer a wee dram was on offer, although the measure certainly wasn't "wee". The room was... More

Beautiful location with grand views towards the distant highlands. Easily accessible from the M80 and close to Glasgow. The accommodation is of a high standard, and Elsie and Alastair made me feel at home with their warm welcome. Breakfast was lovely, and I really enjoyed hearing about the history of the farm. Highly recommended.

This is one truly outstanding bed and breakfast accommodations. The hospitality, the room, the food and the location make Easter Glentore a stay to remember. To be afforded the use of the lounge in which to relax and take in the marvellous views of the surrounding countryside was a privilege. Very close to nearby restaurants, the Falkirk Wheel and the... During our holiday we needed a place between Edinburgh and Glasgow and we found this great B&B. We arrived very late and the landlord and lady were so charming in offering us tea and biscuits and we had a great chat. The room was exactly what we wanted, Elsie went out of her way to accomodate our wish for separate... More

We had a lovely family holiday at Acorn Cottage. The cottage was spotless and extremely well equipped and we were made to feel very welcome by the owners, Elsie & Alastair. The cottage is set in rural surroundings and is perfectly situated to visit Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling. This gives the opportunity to relax or have an action packed day... More

A smashing couple run this bed and breakfast. They are very friendly and their home is spotlessly clean, Bed was comfortable and the breakfast was fabulous. When establishments in Glasgow were charging rip-off prices during the Commonwealth Games, Easter Glentore Farm was still charging excellent value for money rates. We will definitely use again when next in the area.

Just completed 15 nights here and it was a great place to stay. Central for everything including Edinburgh and Glasgow and Elsie and Alistair are fantastic hosts. We come back to North Lanarkshire every year from Australia and I wouldn't look anywhere else now when booking accommodation. In terms of service and just making you feel welcome, Elsie and Alistair... More

On a business trip we stayed for one night at the Easter Glentore and could not have been happier with the choice. Lovely warm welcome by Elsie with tea and cake after being shown to our room which was spotlessly clean and well appointed. On the morning of departure we feasted on a more than adequate breakfast which set me... More

No trip to Scotland is complete without a stay with Elsie and Alistair. It's always lovely to come back here and enjoy a cuppa and lovely home baking on arrival. The rooms are always at the highest standard of décor and cleanliness. Delightful ambience as well. Elsie and Alistair are great hosts, and we always enjoy our talks at breakfast.... More
