Phoned to book a table for six adults for lunch. Previously received NHS Staff discount and checked when booking a few days prior to phoning to book that I would receive the discount but denied reduction upon paying the bill. I looked at their website after this event and NHS Staff discount was still being advertised.

I go here every couple of weeks with my kids & girlfriend. We love the place and we love the staff and food. Staff are very friendly with David the Backshift manager always making sure my kids are settled with a high chair and drawings. Always with a smile he is an asset to the place. Food is fantastic. We were a group of mature men on an outing....the room allocated...despite the cobwebs on the windows was adequate....inevitably we wanted a drink...fine for the first half a dozen in that a pint was available...after that and for the rest of the evening there was no beer on tap!!!!!!! Move to the meal ....ok they cannot do much harm with...

Thank you for your feedback. I am disappointed to read your review as this is certainly not our usual standard. We are a small team at Annfield and all take great pride in the service we offer. I understand that there were issues relating to our draught larger on this evening which were outwith our control, however we were able...

Was here recently with a good few friends and we found it to be ok. The portions were good size but food was a bit tasteless (steak pie and potatoes) especially. Service was bit disappointing ..had to ask few times for drinks. Place is bit tired looking and everything was sticking to table .

I'll start by saying that I didn't stay at the Annfield just dropped in for dinner. I'd not been in the Annfield for about seven years, don't know why just a bit off the beaten track I reckon, but I popped in for dinner twice in a fortnight so they must be doing something right. The menu is pretty decent,...

Called in at Annfield tonight family group of 4 and found great new menu in place. 2 courses for £10 very good choices and food was excellent. Dining room was quiet but probably normal for 1st wednesday in january! Staff gave us a warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them. Quality checked several times to ensure we...

Stayed here overnight and while the room was comfortable and the service was very good, they really need to turn up the heating as it was very cold during the night making me thankful I was only staying 1 night.

Came here for breakfast with my partner. We were welcomed in and taken to the conservatory which has beautiful views. They put a heater on for us in case we got cold. Very thoughtful. We both had the big breakfast with a cup of tea. The food was perfect and the service was warm friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be...

Took my mother here for a wee treat and it was well worth it. Staff attentive and friendly as soon as we arrived had the option of seating, opted for conservatory as the weather was glorious. Menu and specials all explained and ordering was easy. Selected main dish from a la Carte menu and what a portion, it was delicious....

We were most impressed by the price of the hotel. First we thought we could afford it until we asked for the prices. You can eat drink sleep all on a budget. Its not a large hotel but the service is good and helpful.
