We arrived late with 2 teenagers but were given a warm welcome and shown to the 2 rooms we had booked which were immaculate and decorated tastefully and with a homely feel. The en suites in both rooms were new and the powerful showers were welcome after our 4 hour trip. Breakfast was wonderful, you could help yourself to the...

I know its a much used phrase - but this is indeed a hidden gem in Elgin. The house is beautifully decorated. The rooms have been furnished with a lot of love for details (e.g. the glases in the bathroom). Our room was very spacious with a large bed. Breakfast was very good, the owner friendly and helpful. The house...

We were warmly welcomed to the Richmond B & B after driving through the highlands from Edinburgh. Our hosts, Jock and Allison suggested one of the local restaurants that we could walk to where we had dinner. The Richmond B & B was just wonderful - welcoming, beautifully decorated, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Our extended family (my Dad and our...

We had a very nice stay at the Richmond B&B. The room and bed were extremely nice, the garden was lovely. Breakfast was extremely good and the hosts very helpful. The only negative was the parking situation - parking on a busy street. The B&B was close to everything we needed. We would recommend this B&B to anyone staying in...

We so enjoyed our stay. This was our first time in a B&B and we loved it. Allison spoiled my husband at breakfast every morning and he loved it! We made much use of the garden as we were blessed with good weather. Very friendly hosts and accommodation was top notch

There is absolutely nothing bad to say about this place. It is perfectly placed 5 mins walk from the train station and 2 min walk from the centre of town. Despite the central location there is no issue with external noise. The rooms all appear to be very clean and of a good size. Having been through various B+Bs in...

I LOVED this bed and breakfast!! My husband and I arrived in Elgin late in the evening after departing from Montrose. We were both very happy to see the beautiful room awaiting us after our long train journey. The hostess/manager was very helpful and kind. She even allowed us to store our bags at the B&B the next day while...

I stayed at this B&B with my boyfriend for one night in 2006. We headed here after a day touring Loch Ness and before we embarked on the Whisky Trail. If you are planning a stay in Elgin, I would highly recommend the Richmond B&B. The owner was very pleasant and helpful, and the room we stayed in was beautifully...
