We (a German, an American and a Dane) were traveling through the UK and Ireland on motorcycles in June/July 2016 and randomly ended up in front of Willowbank B&B. Karen and Ray were lovely hosts, and the room was one of the best on the entire trip: clean, modern, spacious and cozy. Breakfast was great as well. Willowbank is conveniently... More

I have to travel to Elgin for studying on a block release basis, so I stay here for 5 nights in a row. Was previously staying somewhere else but swapped to stay at Willowbank with some others on my course. Karen and Ray are lovely, and Willowbank is very homely. I stayed in room 3 which has a lovely big... More

I'm always put off when the host ask for money before you see the room, as past experience has shown that its not great! I got the 'Garage' room and while it was OK I wouldn't like to take friends or family to that room. I am usually travelling alone and really object to paying a single supplement at this... More

Made very welcome by Karen and Ray. We were in room 4 which was upstairs and had a lovely view of the garden. This room had a double and single bed with a lovely en suite. The room had a good television which was easy to operate and was spacious with comfortable beds. The breakfast was very enjoyable with cereal,... More

The host is a very nice person, friendly and willing. We were very lucky to get the big bedroom with a double bed and two single beds, although we were just 2 people. The room was huge and cosy, the bathroom fine as well. Our friends had a very small room which seemed more like an old garage than a... More

All rooms have the same price, but some are much bigger than others, some have really old furniture, others more new ones. We got a room that was not the cleanest one and it was old. You could see that it had been a garage before. Didn't enjoy the stay at all! Way too expensive for what you get!!!! Paid... More

Stayed room 3 - fine but quite cold and noisy. Rubbish TV (could hardly change the channel and im not bad with these things). Host perfectly smiley but not actually that interested. Demand payment straight away which I suppose is fair enough. The breakfast is just terrible - cheapest tat that can be put on a plate (you may also... More
