I've stayed here before and it's a lovely location with great views over the river Clyde and across to Dumbarton. The staff are friendly and the rooms are up to the high standard I've come to expect from any premier inn. Large comfy beds and a good shower and lucky enough to get a room with a view over the... would recommend this hotel to anyone, staff are very friendly, nothing was too much trouble, food was good, the breakfast I strongly recommend, due to location you are not guaranteed a view of the river but as we were out all day, comfort of the room was far more important! we will stay here again!

We booked on line at £74 plus breakfast. Great views across Clyde from bedroom and restaurant. Rooms large, very clean and comfortable. Quite stuffy because you can't fully open windows. Breakfast was standard buffet, but you can order fresh poached eggs. This is exactly what you expect and matches expectation.

I’m pleased we came up to your expectations of a Premier Inn, and thank you for your feedback. We restrict the degree to which our bedroom windows open for safety reasons – I’m sorry this proved inconvenient in terms of letting more air into the room. Many thanks for your review. More

Full marks to Greenock Premier Inn for offering a bed sheet as an option to the duvet for hot nights. Wonderful - why has no one thought of this before. Occasionally I have asked for it but it was great to find it offered as standard. That aside, I had a good night here. It was a nice room, very... More

We do try to anticipate when the Scottish weather will bless us with a hot day and on those occasions provide the sheet alternative to the duvet, and I’m pleased you found this useful. Thanks for a great review of Greenock Premier Inn, and your comments on the staff are also appreciated. More

I have used numerous Premier Inns and I visited this weekend on a corporate hospitality event. I had no doubt in my mind that the accommodation would be anything but the very good standard of accommodation and service I have become use to. They didn't let me down. Some of the parking bays are a bit tight but that is... More

I’m glad we met your expectations of a Premier Inn and that we could provide a pleasant place to stay during your event. Our rooms overlooking the water are in great demand and we are always happy to receive requests from guests for such a room, but with less than a third of our rooms in this category we must... More

I stayed here while working on a project nearby for a few months. I suppose all premier inns have the same ethos which is a guaranteed good night's sleep. I only had to complain once about the noise in dios knows how many nights. The staff are really nice here. Dave is a gentleman, Christine and Elizabeth are lovely too.... More

Our Receptionists do work hard and as the single person on duty in the evenings they do have to be a “jack of all trades”. Whilst we try to avoid their being absent from the front desk, inevitably guest requirements will necessitate their being in another part of the hotel - however in such circumstances our pager system will summon... Greenock is NOT replete with Hotels and the Premier Inn is centrally located, easy to find and 100% value for money. The lift does not run to the second floor so if lugging big cases get a room on the ground or first floors. Very helpful staff.

Yes our second floor rooms are accessible only by two short flights of stairs, so those with heavy luggage or for whom stairs are difficult should let us know in advance and we will, subject to availability of course, provide a more suitable room, and our staff will always be happy to assist if required. I like this Premier Inn as it is easy to get to using public transport. Cartsdyke railway station is about 10/15 minutes walk and Greenock Central is within walking distance or a short taxi ride. This makes it ideal for touring The Clyde coast by train, bus or on The Paddle Steamer Waverley when it is doing trips on the... More

Yes we are conveniently located for local transport – in addition to those you mention the bus stop serving local routes and buses to Glasgow is close to the hotel, and the ferry terminals for the islands of Bute, Arran and Cumbrae are within easy reach by car. I hope you managed a trip on the Waverley – they say... More
