Short visit to Nairn on way north and booked here after recommendation. Lovely welcome and information about the town from the owners who could not be more helpful. The room was very large and spacious, nice and quiet with a view out to sea, plus a most comfortable bed and good en-suite. Delicious breakfast with the largest selection of marmalade... More

What a week in Nairn! Felt like the hottest days of the Scottish 'summer' producing divine wide-screen sunsets that even the locals couldn't take their eyes off. On this, our second (work-related) trip to Nairn this year, Angela and George's welcome and hospitality were as spectacular as the first time, and the weather. It takes energy and supreme attention to... More

possibly not on your itinerary. but don't miss this "brighton" like seaside resort. stroll along wonderful sandy beaches, follow the river to the centre. and with seaview, the glebe-end b&b. beautiful victorian mansion, very stylish rooms and great hosts. best breakfast on our highland trip. not cheap, but worth every £.

We've been to many locations before, but during our road trip through Scotland we found the best: In Nairn at Glebe End. Our room in this beautiful villa was clean, comfortable and simply wonderful. It's such a nice place to be, especially with a view to the sea. We loved the beach at Nairn. Our hosts made our stay a... More

Lots of other reviews praise the breakfast at Glebe End and yes it truly is a magnificent one (neither my wife or I had to eat again until each evening for the whole time we were there!). However, much more than this, the Mackays really are the most welcoming and delightful hosts you could wish for (despite George plying me... More

We have stayed in some lovely hotels and B&B's in our time but this one surpassed them all! The house is beautiful and full of character, very spacious, airy and bright and spotlessly clean set within a very private beautifully manicured garden with off street parking. Within easy walking distance of the beach and some fine restaurants (recommend the Sunny... More

We only stayed one night on a day trip to the Highlands, but the accommodations are clean and the hosts are very hospitable. This place deserves its high score. It is within walking distance of some fine restaurants and for local Scottish entertainment, the caelegh(sp) can't be beat.

We spent five days in this delightful B&B. It is a charming house situated a short walk from the beach. All rooms are appointed to a very high standard. Ours was spacious with a lovely sea view. Breakfast was served family style encouraging conversation with other guests. Many are repeat visitors. George and Angela are perfect hosts and knowledgable about... More

We stayed at Glen End for two nights during our first visit to Scotland. Angela and George were terrific hosts and the B&B was top notch. Our room was spacious and quiet, the breakfasts were excellent and the location was great.
