Hotel is in beautiful surroundings. It's a beautiful old building and looks very nice coming up the drive. First impression of hotel was friendly, warm and inviting. We were checked in quickly. Only thing that we would say we didn't like on first impression was the hall carpets where our room was (102) were very worn and badly stained. Doesn't give a good impression. Our room was large, spacious and warm. Massive big bed, which was very comfortable. Room had tea/coffee facility. Bathroom was large with shower over the bath. Shower could be doing with being upgraded. Water pressure wasn't great. Other than that it was a fabulous room. We ate on a half board basis. Breakfast was pre ordered night before, which we didn't particularly like as you don't always feel it the next day and it's nice to have a choice on day. Dinner was great every night. Lots of choice. Very good value for money. We also had a special menu for New Year's Eve, which was a lovely surprise. Staff were very attentive and helpful. Always checking if you were OK or could get you anything. The Manager made a great effort to make everyone's New year's Eve celebrations special even though there was restrictions. Many thanks to all we loved our stay and will most definitely be back in the future!!

This is the second visit to this hotel. We stayed for 2 nights in room 219 which was very spacious, quiet and had a lovely comfy bed. Hot water for the shower and bath was available throughout the day (not the case for all hotels...). All the staff we interacted with were brilliant. Couldn't fault them. There was a good selection at breakfast and the dinner tasted great (I had poached salmon whilst my partner chose the pork fillet). The hotel is in a beautiful setting, close to the town centre. We'll definitely be back!

Really liked this hotel in the countryside. Friendly staff, our room was big and had all the creature comforts. So nice to be able to walk into Nairn. Got a voucher deal, but would come back in the summer as my husband found about the fishing possibilities in this area. Refreshing break.
