We enjoyed our stay very much. It's a neat place with a lit of history. The owners are accomodating and friendly. The location is beautiful. The breakfast was very nice. WIFI would not reach our room. The beach in front of the hotel is pretty and has an enjoyable walk.

We stayed here for one night at the beginning of September, and it was wonderful! The hotel is lovely, typically Scottish. Fantastic views over the Moray Firth, the hotel has a beach at the bottom of the the garden which was great for the dog to stretch his legs on after a long car journey. The host's were so helpful... We spent 2 nights at the Invernairne and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room had an excellent view of the Moray Firth and we could walk to the beach from the Guest House in a matter of minutes. The room was clean, spacious and well presented. It had an en-suite with a bath/shower combo. Breakfast was served in a nice,... More

Stopped here for one night on my way to Aberdeen. It is a grand old building in a quiet neighborhood location. My hosts were most helpful. However, for the amount I paid I must have gotten the smallest room in the establishment. Not that I needed much as I was traveling alone, but it felt a little like being stuffed... More

Lovely stay in this charming country house by the sea. Spacious rooms, lovely gardens and plenty of parking space. Doug and Kay were excellent hosts. The well appointed dining room overlooked the gardens and beyond the Moray Firth, which was the perfect setting for a very enjoyable breakfast. No evening meals served, but plenty of choice nearby.

We stayed here for 1 night as we couldn't get booked into our usual golf view hotel for 2 nights. The family room was big, & exceptionally clean. The breakfast was fab (much better than the golf views breakfast!), the view from their breakfast room was stunning, looking out over the moray firth. The gardens were beautiful & there was... More

What a wonderful spot, exactly what we were looking for in our trip to northern scotland with our children. Room was large, comfortable, and we were welcomed upon arrival by name. The garden and path down to the water were perfect, and we received a map and several recommendations for dinner. Lastly, we had left some articles of clothing upon... More

After a very warm welcome from the owners, we enjoyed a very comfortable and relaxing stay at the Invernairne. Breakfast was very tasty, served in a room which has spectacular views over the sea. The hotel's location is perfect for a walk along the beach. We certainly plan to return.

I would definitely return to this hotel! Visited with my husband and two toddlers, and we were all pleased. The hotel is in a gorgeous spot just up a grassy hill from the sea. We stayed in the family room with seaview -- two connecting rooms with one bathroom. Plenty of room for the four of us. Stunning views through... More

We toured in Scotland for one week and this was the best places we stayed at. The house was big and decent, with spacious parking lot, friendly staff, sufficient rooms, plenty of facilities, beautiful yards, nice breakfast, super close to lovely beaches and parks, and not far away from downtown Nairne. We were a family of four, so booked a... More
