Had the pleasure of a few nights here this week, lovely homely feel with lovely hosts. The rooms are comfy and well equipped, the breakfasts are plentiful and theres a lovely bar to relax in. I also had the pleasure of chatting to some of the local gang in the bar, cheers guys for a light hearted evening. Make sure... More

Having just completed the Lands End to John O'groats cycle ride, I needed a place to stay overnight before heading back home. Camilla and Ryan were very welcoming and helpful upon my arrival, and I finished a tiring day in the snug and comfortable bar with a pizza and a glass of whiskey (as recommended by Ryan). My single room... More

The Invernairne Hotel is a lovely house, with wonderful hosts and a back garden which leads onto the beach. It doesn't get much better than this! When we arrived, Camilla made us feel as though we were already friends and during our stay she could not have been more helpful. Our room had a really comfortable super king bed and... More

My husband and I stayed at The Invernairne from Sept 5-9 in order to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary, and our visit was absolutely charming, lovely, beautiful, and romantic in every way! The owners, Ryan and Camilla, were so very accommodating and personable; they provided a bottle of champagne at our arrival and also gave us recommendations for local restaurants... More

Thank you so much for your terrific review I especially liked the story that your husband wanted to bring you here after being in Kinloss with the RAF. You were lovely to have around and felt like family when you left. All the best and I know you live far away but remember it is only a plane ride :) More

Camilla and Ryan, owners and hosts, were absolutely terrific! Room was perfect...breakfast was amazing, and the location was outstanding. Nairn and Invernairne are truly hidden gems not to overlook and are in an excellent central location to visit the nearby historic, beauty, spirits, and hospitality of the Scottish people!!! A must if looking for a historic B&B with all the... More

While searching on line for a place to stay in Inverness, we stumbled upon the Invernairne Hotel. I don't know why we had the impression this place was remote, perhaps it's location by the sea, but it was near town, restaurants, and a lively, easy to walk beach front. There could have been no better place to stay in the... More

Thank you so much you and your girls were just lovely to have around and we loved the fact you went off exploring every day and came back with great stories. Title above covers it......absolutely superb 4 night stay here last week, and cannot fault anything. Superb room, massive breakfast (Came away without the fabulous Stornoway black pudding......damn.) Camilla and Ryan may be new to their chosen career, but are getting it SO right. Totally unpretentious homely atmosphere, and if they ever get round to doing evening meals it will complete... More

Do not hesitate to stay here, the views are wonderful and the owners although new to the business are superb. The breakfast was more than adequate with plenty of choice. Great choice of beers at the bar and if the weather is OK their is a great garden to enjoy too

We stayed here for 2 nights during our trip through Scotland and were very happy to have been guests in this lovely location. She was... More
