Nice older hotel, well maintained. Nice food in the restaurant and for breakfast. Clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful and friendly. Located in centre of Kyle but there is little to do there without transport. Ideally situated for visiting Isle of Skye by car.

Book a hotel well in advance and avoid this basic minimalist spot. Rooms are small; difficult to put your suitcase down. Thin walls; lots of hallway traffic/business. Shower stall and pedestal sink. No wifi except in ultra warm conservatory and noisy bar. Friendly receptionist, however, is a plus. Odd parking, but ends up being convenient. White hotel with black sign... More

My Husband and myself stayed at this hotel last night. I always had a fair idea from previous negative reviews that this was going to be the worst of three hotels we were booked into. I was a little shocked at the dated interior with seriously squeaky floorboards and narrow corridors. The heat in the room was almost unbearable( we... More

This was by far the worst b&b we stayed in, the bedroom had twin beds, it was en suite, but not very classy, I wasn't drawn to the shower it looked as if it needed a good re decoration throughout, the food was also not to very good standard, a bit cold and as if the chips had been rewarmed,... As we could not find a place (and needed 2 rooms) in the same price category on Skye we decided to sleep at Skye Hotel. We did not count with a high level, but even so we wer very much disappointed. Badly maintained hotel. Narrow corridors, rooms equiped with furnitures as you could find them in Bulgaria 20 years ago.... More

The hotel welcomes bikers, I had a single room with breakfast for £55, which I thought was a good price. The hotel room was clean and comfy with toiletries provided in the bathroom. The bar was cheerful, and there are plenty of other places nearby to try. The night that I stayed, there was a coach party, and the staff... More

After reading several negative reviews about this hotel we booked it with low expectations and we were pleasantly surprised by the overall quality of the room, the friendliness and efficiency of their staff. We booked through HotWires and somehow there was no record of our booking. The reception staff was very accommodating and we were assigned room #1 which has... More

The hotel has very narrow corridors making luggage handling a challenge, but the rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff pleasant and helpful. This was one of the poorer values during our stay in the UK though. Just one night later we stayed at a hotel in Dumbarton which was much nicer for slightly more than half the cost.... More

It is a very lovely hotel with some character. Isn't all tartan Wallpaper and tartan carpets! Quite modern and the food was rationed - but still lovely. Around the hotel there are a few shops and a park not to far away for young children. I would stay here again for sure and the staff were welcoming 😊
