Quite difficult to find, but when we arrived we were warmly welcomed by our host. We booked a double and a triple which were next to each other on the first floor with a shared bathroom. The rooms are basic but very comfortable. No hanging space for the clothes, but more than sufficient. The breakfast is honestly one of the... More

Stayed one night in a double room. Made very welcome by Brian who gave us great tips about local sights. The room was very large, comfortable, and well stocked. TV, WiFI, and plenty of brewing stuff. We slept well. Breakfast was fantastic and plentiful. I was aware we would be sharing the bathroom when we booked, and this was not... More

Had an exquisite time, warm welcome by Holly daughter of Brian, fireplace lit up in family room, fantastic breakfast and good night sleep. The wind howls through the windows but ads to the charm of this wonderful country home...horses, chickens , lambs and stunning views.....

A lovely, peaceful, friendly spot, with no pretentious - just a great welcome, superb breakfast and laid-back atmosphere and there's Rory the friendliest horse ever! Within easy reach of the Skye Bridge (15 minutes) and and great location for exploring a stunning part of Scotland. Hope to return! Sue and Hynek.

We would recommend to everyone! Stayed for three nights. Comfortable beds, wifi worked perfectly, help with sightseeing activities including making dinner reservations for us and a delicious breakfast with farm fresh eggs. Brian made us feel like home and if we are ever in that area again it is the only place we would stay!Thank you Brian

This is a reasonably priced B&B, child-friendly, and located conveniently to Eileen Donan Castle and to the bridge to the Isle of Skye. The host, Brian, is very relaxed and cooks an exceptionally delicious egg breakfast. The farm setting is attractive. Some creature comforts could easily be added, which would have enhanced our experience: rubbish baskets in rooms, locks for... More

Brian the Landlord confirmed our feeling we had made a good choice when I asked "what time is breakfast served?" his relpy, what time would you like it? Relaxed charm cosy warm rooms with wood burning fireplaces. Chickens, sheep and horses add to the charm. The full Scottish breakfast with Brians flock of chickens supplying the eggs was delicious. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
At the Farmhouse, you will receive a warm welcome from your hosts, and nothing will be too much trouble. This is a traditional farm house, a building that has seen more than 3 centuries and has now opened its doors to you. The farm is now primarily a horse rearing farm, but also is home to a wide range of poultry, and other farm animals depending on the time of year. The farmhouse has a range of rooms available, including a large family room, double rooms with their own fireplace, and twin rooms. We have a double Shower room and a separate Bathroom with genuine Victorian rolltop bath for those who like to have a soak and relax. Breakfast is aimed to suit your needs, so you can expect a full range from a continental to full Scottish breakfasts, porridge to croissants. Our own free range eggs are used, and local produce is key to our Scottish breakfast. If you arrive late, we can provide you with a supper of soup accompanied by home made bread. You will enjoy your meals in our large dining room with views over the farm. This is the ideal location to be able to enjoy both the attractions of the Isle of Skye, and the Mainland. There is plenty to see on the farm, so you may want to allocate a day meeting the animals. ... more   less
