this had to be one of the most comfortable beds in the whole world! sometimes with the sun coming up so early in Scotland, is hard for me to sleep, but not at this place! We stayed 2 nights at this place, and had a wonderful time. The breakfast was wonderful and I would recommend this place for everyone.

My husband and I stayed July 2 and 3, 2016. Every aspect of this of this B&B was outstanding, from the welcoming hosts to the comfort and cleanliness of the room to the excellent breakfasts. If you plan on taking the Jacobite steam train, the station was a 15-minute walk at a moderate pace. Stuart - thank you for the... More

We only stayed at Buccleuch for a night, but we had a wonderful stay. The rooms were clean, bright, and simple, with everything you would need (coffee/tea, hairdryer, wireless internet, etc.). The woman we dealt with was very accommodating - we asked if she could chill a bottle of champagne for us and when we returned she had put it... More

We stayed for five nights at the Buccleuch from the 10th to 15th July. Lorna and Stuart are wonderful. They make you feel very welcome and nothing is too much trouble. The house itself is very beautiful, the rooms are large and so well laid out with everything you could ever possibly need. The breakfast is as good as any... More

I have stayed at many guest houses over the years. This is one of the best if not the best. Stuart made us very welcome. The house and rooms are maintained to a high standard and are lively and warm. The breakfast had everything you wanted. Highly recommend

This was our second stay here and lived up to its previous high expectations. We stayed with 2 friends in rooms 1 and 2 both of which are super comfortable with views of Loch Linnie. There is a great variety of choice for breakfast which was of high quality. A wonderful stay.

Stayed for just the one night, but everything was spot on. From the massive comfy bed to the huge breakfast. Both Stuart and Lorna were welcoming and very knowledgeable about the area and made good recommendations throughout. The room itself was large, clean and had everything required. Couldn't have wanted anything else.

Recently stayed for one night on our way to Glasgow from Skye and wish we would have stayed longer just to enjoy more of the Buccleuch Guest House and the wonderful hosts. Our room was spacious and beautiful, bathroom very clean. The house itself looks right over the Loch, beautiful location and close to city center. Breakfast was delicious and... More
