Warm and welcoming B&B, great base for exploring Ben Nevis, with amazing views over the loch. Period property that's been sensitively refurbished. The owners are really friendly and helpful, full of advice about what to do in the area.

You should definitely book given the chance. My friend and I headed up to Fort William mid-week for the night and we lucky enough to book a room at this lovely, warm, quiet and well located guest house. We was so impressed with the beautiful, warm and clean rooms in addition to friendliness. It is a quick walk of no... More

We stayed here for two nights in October, whilst taking a trip on the Fort William -Mallaig railway. I could not recommend it highly enough- beautiful room ( Room 2)overlooking the Loch, with hanging space, hooks on every door and wonderfully soft white towels in the ensuite bathroom, which was lovely and warm, with the quietest extractor fan I have... Booked here at the last minute and was more than satisfied. Very warm welcome from the two lovely proprietors. The room was lovely and comfortable and nicely furnished. Beautiful view out over the loch. Great idea to have hooks on the back of every door. Also had a tray for "mucky boots" - great idea. Really comfortable beds and bedding.... More

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights at the end of September: we are regular visitors to Fort William - every 40 years! The welcome from Laura and Stuart was warm and sincere - and the accommodation matched the welcome. Lovely lodgings with ample off-street parking and a truly magnificent breakfast to set one up for a busy... More

The room was nice with lovely view over the garden to the loch. It has its own parking and is with walking distance for shops and restaurants etc. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of choice for breakfast . The hosts were friendly .

We stayed at Buccleuch last weekend as a base from which to climb Ben Nevis. We were sad to only stay 2 nights as it was so wonderful! Never mind the clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated room, the amazing setting with stunning views over the loch, and the all-important hearty breakfast (which was faultless), the memory that will remain with...
