Fort William is a well located city for exploring many different attractions, including historical sites, natural views and outdoor activities. The Fassfern Guesthouse is a convenient stop in Fort William offering you the basic comfort you need, in a nice and adequate room in front of a beautiful lake, which also offers a relaxing view during breakfast. No luxury at... More

Good location with a short drive to Ben Nevis trail staring point. Only a few minutes walk to town center. Good rooms with view on the loch and good breakfast. Easy parking. Does not accept credit cards. Recommended.

Fassfern is right on the main drag going into Ft. William, so it's a great location for walking into town, and all the outdoor activities associated with this area. For us, it was hiking Ben Nevis, and this suited that need perfectly. It's just a very short drive to the trailhead! Back to the inn - good parking, small room,... More

Stayed here for 2 nights with mum and sister on the 17th May. Breakfast was fab, rooms were perfect and Debbie is lovely. We were going on Jacobite and BB is only a short walk on a straight road from train station. Highly recommend a stay here.

We took the last room available on a Saturday night in May. Cheap enough. Pleasant unfussy dealings with the owners who provided a good breakfast (quick, fresh fruit, non-greasy well-presented cooked breakfast. Oodles of parking. Clean. Ample hot water. We would use them again. If I was being critical... I would have preferred breakfast to be available earlier then the... More

Fort William was choc-a-bloc with walkers from the West Highland Walk and not a room was to be had (and don't even consider getting any help from the Tourist Information office!). So we decided to drive out on the road to the west and saw the vacancy sign at Fassfern Guesthouse. What luck! The welcome was delightful as was our... More

We were in Fort William for a few days in September for a holiday and we found the staff were friendly the room was clean and the breakfast was wonderful. The location was great and we found that walk along the side of the Loch was great in the evening getting onto and back from the town

We stayed a couple of nights in early September. Our very clean and nicely turned out room overlooked Loch Linnhe and was quite lovely. Good choices for breakfast, and very well prepared (and tasty). We were surprised there were only a couple of channels available on the the TV, and unlike every other B&B we'd been at in the UK,... More

Stopped here for 3 nights, large room immaculately clean, comfortable bed, great location over looking the loche, and only 5 minute walk from town. Friendly & helpful proprietor, breakfast was of good quality and plentiful, would definitely stop here again if was to visit Fort William, great b&b 😅😅😅
