We were on a tour and did not spend much time there except to sleep. But they did have large rooms and was very clean and modern. We had a ground level room but they did have rooms on second floor, no elevator. Bathrooms were really clean and modern also. Location is great. Only a few blocks from downtown. Plenty... More

Beautiful house, great spacious rooms and wonderful breakfast, right on the loch and a walking distance from the town center (shops, restaurants and ect) and train station (where the West Highland Way ends). Can't recommend it more!

I enjoyed the look & feel of this Victorian guest house. Very tastefully decorated. Beautiful garden in front. Easy walk to 'downtown'. Small parking lot in back. Wifi and full cooked breakfast included. Quiet location. Would have been 5 stars but we had the tiniest of bathrooms - no room for the towels or our toiletry kits inside. Barely room... More

We had two nights in a Loch facing room in the separate, detached property. The room was immaculate, with an extremely comfortable kingsized bed and a fabulous en-suite that looked new. Dora and her staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent and cooked to order. Located only 5 minutes walk from the town centre and no more than 10... More

This was our first B&B stay. Location The Great House is located the other side of the town centre from the bus & train station. After a long train & bus trip from Edinburgh via Inverness, we used a taxi (under £5) to get there. It is a short walk back to the town centre. The Guest House is on... More

We booked Myrtle Bank as it is 3 minutes walk along the lochside to The Lime Tree restaurant, a place we promised we would dine in 'should we ever revisit and go up Ben Nevis' All three aspects of the day exceeded expectations, this being amongst the cleanest guest houses ever visited!

We a family of four stayed here for two nights. Its very conveniently located on the bank of the loch and five minutes walk to downtown. Very clean and well maintained and has ample secured parking space, though rooms are a bit smaller. Check in and Check out was very smooth. Had to cancel the third room at the last... More

Only a one night stop-over but Myrtle Bank Guest House is beautifully decorated and immaculately kept. Great view over the loch, great welcome, great breakfast. Cannot fault. Would definitely stay here again when in Fort William. Strong award of five stars (dots).

Stayed in the main building on the first floor. Room was nice and clean. They clean the room and change the towels everyday. Bathroom/shower was tiny. Room was also small. Price was £170 for two nights bed and breakfast which doesn't feel to me to be great value given that it is a basic guest house (they don't offer a... More

With my two 'young adult' children I stayed at Myrtle Bank for two nights in early July 2016. We had an extremely comfortable stay - the beds & bathrooms were lovely (crisp linen, very well-equipped rooms, quiet) and the welcome warm and friendly. The breakfasts were great - it was particularly nice to have a 'fruit plate' option, with a... More
