Myself and 4 friends stayed here from the 28th -30th July . As we were climbing Ben Nevis via cmd arete for alzhiemers scotland. The hotel was first class to us . Rooms immaculate . Comfy beds. Plenty tea and coffee in rooms . And a bath that was so well deserved after our walk . The breakfast was absolutely... More

We stayed for two nights in July '14. The staff was just super. They were attentive for check-in and were very good as wait staff in the restaurant. We had lots of questions and special requests and we were met with smiles and really positive attitudes. The restaurant selections were pretty good, traditional homey type meals. The decor is dated... More

Well we liked it here. Travelling around the highlands and wanted a hotel in Fort William for a night. Yes it could do with some updating, but really clean and comfortable and they obviously try really hard to keep everything in order. Friendly staff. Had a lovely drink in the bar/lounge in the evening over looking the loch. Good breakfast.... More

Ground floor room overlooking loch - dated decor Proved to be too close to the main entrance as the coach load of foreign visitors all sat on step outside our window and they were loud! We had a bar snack which was ok. Breakfast served in the dining room (very narrow awkward access with steps) overlooking the loch was also... More

My partner and I usually stay in B&B's but since we were on honeymoon we decided to go for hotels. This place really paled in comparison to the lovely hotel we stayed in in Edinburgh, (Rutland) which cost about 15% more per night than the Clan McDuff. I've also stayed in much nicer and cheaper B&B's - although not in... More

Stayed here for one night whilst traveling in the Highlands. Quiet location, a couple of miles out of town, so you really need a car if using this as a base. Room spotlessly clean, though decor somewhat dated. Breakfasts served to order rather than buffet style.

Spent two nights herewith three friends. Wonderful location, lots of parking and an ever changing view of the loch. We thought the food was good and the drinks reasonably priced. I would be very happy to return.

Stayed for one night as part of a mixed group taking part in the 3 Peaks Challenge starting at Ben Nevis. Hotel was in perfect location and the staff were very accommodating. Rate included breakfast but we were leaving very early in the morning so a packed meal was provided the night before. Staff were friendly and welcoming and showed... More

We have stayed here several times over the years and this time for 3 days whilst we explored the area. It was like home from home for us. The restaurant service was top class with lots of young ladies (school leavers? 6th form pupils on their annual holidays? who knows?) they were all excellent. Breakfast is always class with scrambled... More
