We couldn’t fault the Clan MacDuff, either in physical attributes or the staff. The place is in a lovely situation, overlooking the Loch, with plenty of parking, big comfortable lounges and well furnished bedrooms, the team are so friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much...More

The hotel is located on he way into the centre of Fort William overlooking the loch. The rooms are comfortable, the breakfast very good and the staff are friendly and helpful. Stayed there before our trip on the Jacobite Steam Train to Mallaig.

Bus depot is next to train station and complete opposite end of town from Macduff. Bus goes past hotel door. We used the normal commuter train to Mallaig (£11 return) and it also stops at the Glenfinnan tower for photos... More

Denis D- Thank you so much for your feedback. The more I research, the more I wish I could cut short my time in Ireland & spend it in Scotland.
