We stayed in Shepherds Hut with our dog Bailey for two nights in July. The place is pure magic - very quaint, cosy and surrounded by nature. The view is breathtaking - we sat on our bed with a glass of wine looking directly out to Ben Nevis. We loved that the hut had a little fire stove (ideal way... More

Wow, what a lovely experience we had staying here. We recently stayed here with our toddler daughter for two nights in the fishermans retreat cabin. This was absolutely perfect for our needs and in such a beautiful location. The cabin had two bedrooms and a cot provided so we could put our daughter to bed and then have room to... More

We had a really lovely stay at the yurts. great communication and thoughtfulness from Julie made our arrival trouble-free. The yurts themselves are incredibly well appointed - we had a very comfortable and warm night's sleep. The kitchen hut is fab too - I think we were the only guests so we had it to ourselves. There was everything needed... More

An uninterrupted view on Ben Nevis - what a fantastic place to stay! The yurts were well furnished and clean and the kitchen area was well equipped. Close to Fort William, but far enough away to relax and enjoy the scenery. A nice romantic getaway!

We stayed during a mountainbike event held at nevis range (just up the road). It was great to come back to a warm and comfy place to sleep. The wee stove heats up the hut really quickly and remains very warm! The communal kitchen was very well stocked with all you could need (plates knives and forks pots and pans... More

We stayed in the Fishermen's Retreat for my friends birthday, it was beyond expectations. We found the cabin a little difficult to locate but with the help of a friendly local family and mad puppy we found our way. The cabin is perfectly situated at the edge of another companies cabins, enough out the way to be on its own... More

We stayed in the Fisherman's Retreat for 5 days in August and were pleasantly surprised to find it was a self contained lodge. The website wasn't very clear and we though it was going to be a bit more like a camping pod with no electricity etc! It even has a TV and full kitchen. The accommodation is simple but... More

Our family of four stayed in the Otter Yurt for two nights a couple of weeks ago. The Yurts are fabulous, a real adventure for our four year old who loved the bunk beds, being able to run around the field, the tree house and the communal cooking area. The whole place is well organised, the facilities are fabulous (who... More

Having climbed Ben Nevis, this lovely site welcomed our weary bones! With a wood burner in the yurt to dry you out and a cozy bed to climb into what more could you ask for? Oh yes - that view. Wow. You have a separate communal kitchen area (and fresh herbs in a baby bath), hot showers, a shared fire... More

We booked the whole campsite (3 yurts and the Shepherd's Hut) for a girly get-together, and it was just perfect! The lovely owner Julie (whilst checking you are comfortable) leaves you to your own devices so it feels very relaxed. Great facilities too, we were able to cook lovely food and have toasty-hot showers- very much a 'glamping' experience. Can't... More
