Have to say, Lochs and Glens rarely get anything wrong and, if anything at all doesn't go exactly to plan, they will do everything possible to ensure that it is put right with the minimum of fuss or inconvenience, they really cannot be faulted. As for The Highland Hotel, it is a real gem. The staff were brilliant, as was...

This was our 3rd holiday with Lochs and Glens, all to different hotels and the Highland Hotel maintains the high standards we have seen at the previous two. The Highland is the northernmost of L&G's hotels so expect a long journey but there are plenty of stops along the way. The usual warm greeting this time from Claire. We were...

We have just returned from a Lochs and Glens holiday to the Highlands Hotel at Fort William, what an amazing experience. This is the first time we have considered this type of break. admittedly it is a long journey, (14 hrs) but the coach was comfortable with regular stops on route. Our coach driver Eddie was brilliant, full of interesting...

I travelled to Fort William by coach with the Lochs and Glens company on the 29th December 2014. I have travelled with this company on many occasions to most of their hotels. This one is the most northerly situated. The journey took 13 hours and was very tiring. However the hotel was well worth the journey. It is a lovely...

Despite all of the 4 seasons weather thrown at us with a vengeance, our second Lochs and Glens holiday was as good as our previous experience. The Hotel was elegant, a very refined Victorian building which caressed you with it's warmth. The staff could not be faulted, they were polite, friendly and obliging, the food was well cooked and seasonal...

Just back from a mountain and mistletoe 3 night break. Food was excellent. Rooms spotless and bathroom ideal with hot water available all the time. The staff were very friendly and patient with us all. The coach trips were adequate but our driver was giving us the incorrect information several times. A couple of the extra excursions were cancelled at...

This visit was with a Lochs and Glens coaching holiday. The Highland lived up to the excellent reviews Lochs and Glens usually have. Excellent accommodation, the rooms being spotlessly clean, the food well cooked and served with a smile. The location however is great for the young and fit but not for people with walking difficulties. A car would be...
