Spotlessly clean, massive room, enormous bed, premier fittings, in fact everything from the welcome to the goodbye was first class. Good choice for breakfast, cooked to order and served with a smile. We stayed two nights and would certainly go back. Thanks.

This is our second stay at McLeans. It is spotlessly clean with very comfortable and spacious rooms. Have read other reviews about the traffic noise but really nothing to be concerned about. Noise is minimal even in rooms at the front. Owners are very welcoming and friendly. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

On check in it was obvious that this was going to be a great place to stay. Our host couldn't have been more helpful, giving us a choice of rooms and sharing local menus with us to help us book a place for dinner. The rooms were immaculate and well organised with everything you needed. Really clean and modern. Breakfast... More

Our last stop on the West Highland Way and what a wee gem it was! The place is beautifully decorated and spotless. Lots of nice, wee touches to make you feel welcome. We were exhausted after our walk and our host, Mark, was so thoughtful. He had carried our "carry on" bags up to our rooms, produced ice and ice... More

Day 5 and our last stay in Fort William of the WHW before going home. This lived upto expectations, first class accommodation, just what you need after walking 98 miles. Room had everything we required, large comfortable beds, TV, wifi which worked, large bathroom with huge shower. Breakfast in the morning excellent with plenty of choice for all tastes and... More

Beautifully clean, modern and well appointed B&B. Immaculate throughout. Made very welcome and shown to a very spacious room with a large shower room. Very very comfortable - huge bed for our weary limbs! Lovely breakfast - the only guesthouse during our week to offer smoked salmon and scramble eggs :) Thoroughly recommend it - you will not be disappointed... More

The MacLean Guest House is just perfect. It's everything you could ask for, even better than a hotel! First up, it's less than a 5 mins walk from the train station, easily manageable for the luggage draggers like us. We stayed on the family room, which was on the highest floor (3rd/4th?), but no matter, we had help bringing our... More

We stayed at MacLean Guesthouse for one night before we started our walk up the Great Glen Way. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable, with a wonderful, modern ensuite bathroom. Brandi and Mark were very helpful and created a cheerful, friendly atmosphere. NIce off-street parking, and close to lots of restaurants, bars, and shopping. Wonderful breakfast!! A great place to... Friendly welcome, clean and spotless, shiny and new, comfortable room with lovely en suite, filling breakfast- all you could ask for really. Brandi, met me at the door, welcomed me in ( in spite the fact that I'd just come off the hill and was not exactly spotless ) took me in, pointed out the breakfast area, took me up... More
