Great location, 5 mins walk into fort William and ideal for access to the Bens. Clean and modern Staff very professional and very helpful if you needed an early breakfast. Brown's restaurant was very nice and well deserved after a long day. A double bed does feel 'small' Also had a meal up the road in the Glen Nevis camp... More

On a high today , climbed Ben Nevis yesterday. We used the Nevis Bank as our base , it's only a mile or so away from the Glen Nevis Visitor Centre where you start the walk. This Hotel is modern and efficient , and ideally suited to walking into Fort William which is a few hundred metres away. You do... More

We arrived in fort william, having got the sleeper train. The weather was awful for 2 days - continuous drizzle and grey skies obscured all views of the mountains. It crossed our minds that we had made a mistake coming to Scotland, but this hotel really cheered us up because the rooms are excellent - clean, very modern and the... More

We popped into this local gem on our journey through Fort William. Mixed drinks, entrees and the sticky toffee pudding for dessert were all very good and the service was top notch for the most part. I waited patiently after our meal for our bill which never arrived, although the rest of the family had given up andu abandoned me.... More

Travelled to Fort William and decided to try out this hotel, good choice! There is onsite parking, it’s not the biggest area but I’m sure there is somewhere else to park if the car park is full. We arrived a little earlier than the normal check in time and our room wasn’t ready (not a problem as we were early),... More

This hotel is modern and has a somewhat Scandinavian feel in its decor. We had a large room with a king bed and plenty of storage for our 2 night stay. The place is comfortable with a great bed and nicely appointed bathroom. We also liked the restaurant very much for both breakfast and dinner. Food was excellent and attractively... More

I arranged a suite to accommodate myself, husband and are two small children the night prior to running the Fort William Marathon. Despite Booking.com saying the hotel was not suitable for children I contacted the hotel directly who were happy to host the family and confirmed there would be separate rooms for us and the children. The hotel doesn't look... More

My wife and I loved the Nevis Bank Inn, its restaurant, and its proximity to town. This will be our first choice of places to stay when we return to Fort William. If you stay here, eat here. And if you eat here, try the mussels. They're fresh, perfectly cooked, and delicious.

Fort William is not an easy place to find rooms in the summer. It was the only one available and so we were skeptical. However, what a pleasant surprise! The room and hotel was clean, fresh and service excellent. Breakfast was very good and location is close to the train station. They even managed to find a cot for our... More

We stayed here for three nights at the end of hiking the W. Highland Way. After the last day and a 15 mile walk, we arrived at the hotel relieved to be out of the rain and looking forward to a hot bath and good meal. The bath was excellent. The meal was exceedingly mediocre. That sums up our experience.... More
