This's hotel has refurbished and is superb. It is approximately 10-15 mins walk from the train station. Check in staff are exceptionally pleasant and helpful; decor is oak finish and beige carpeting - high spec; room (no 15) was big enough - nice curtains with matching pillows on bed, good quality linens, tea/coffee making, free wifi, fair sized wardrobe, bathroom...

We stayed here as a planned family break for a few days, a break which was ruined by someone smashing into the back of our car on the way up not far from the hotel. The hotel staff went over and above our expectations to look after us, from the initial aftermath of the car smash to every other aspect...

We stayed one night and we really enjoyed! Room and bathroom was clean and comfortable! Very warm rooms. We turned off the heater during night!!!! If you don't find free parking outside of the hotel, there is a parking plot opposite the hotel above the river! Breakfast was good as well!

We stayed at this hotel last weekend and would highly recommend it to everyone! It is a very well run hotel where all the staff work hard as a team to look after their guests to ensure complete satisfaction. Our room was spotlessly clean, the breakfast was excellent and the evening meal in Browns restaurant didn't disappoint with high quality...

Just returned from an 8 night stay on a bed and breakfast basis at the Nevis Bank Hotel. We had a great stay. Our room was a good sized double and spotlessly clean and in keeping with the rest of the hotel. Breakfast had a wide range and was plentiful. We also dined at Browns restaurant of an evening and...

We got a family room in the new section of the hotel, and it was a very spacious place to stay. We were pleasantly surprised by the size. Breakfast was VERY GOOD and the hike into town took less than 10 minutes. I don't recall the rate but I picked it for the price and I definitely felt like it...

Fresh and modern interior. Professional reception staff and welcoming. Flexible services and good quality early breakfast. We were able to access breakfast around 6:30am which is great with young children and a busy outdoors day ahead. We were kept awake by noisy neighbouring guests in evening. Family room had two double beds rather than option of twin which was fine...

Although a bit off centre, well worth a visit as the food is lovely and the service very good. We both went for seafood dishes for mains, with my partner having the Seafood & Salmon Risotto which we expected to be the usual plate of risotto with salmon flaked through it. However it was a lovely plate of seafood risotto...

Stopped in for lunch on our drive down south. Staff were very welcoming and gave good service throughout the meal. Food was very good and generous portions. Maple Pecan homemade ice cream was particularly delicious.
