There was definitely a reason for last minute availability. Although this property seemed reasonable the service provided to guests was poor. Wifi was turned on and off whenever the proprietors went to their beds, breakfast was strictly served between 8-8.30am and only if you submit the breakfast choices the night before. Due to a long day, we did not submit... More

Lovely view over Loch Linnie. Hilary & Ray looked after our every need - from drying out our sodden clothing to supplying us with jugfuls of fresh milk for our countless cups of tea. They helped to keep us positive in spite of a rain soaked long weekend and after checking out, very kindly looked after my suitcase until I... More

Stayed here in June to go on the Jacobite Steam Train. The location is good although it is uphill then you have quite a few stairs to climb up to the house itself. Not for anyone with mobility problems. Got a nice welcome on arrival and showed to our twin room which was upstairs. Only 3 bedrooms, other two are... More

The company I work for enquired about booking a room at this B&B. The first call went smoothly enough but when we tried to call back to make the booking we were treat very differently. Very abruptly and unfriendly by a lady, we do not take workmen, had problems with them in the past and put the phone down. The... More

My son and I stayed at Ardmory for two nights sharing a twin room and Hilary and Ray were extremely hospitable and keep this B & B in immaculate condition with clean rooms and an excellent variety and choice for the breakfast menu - I particularly enjoyed the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon! Its very centrally located with parking available... More

We stayed here for two nights. Our rooms were comfortable and clean and the bed was cosy. The one thing we didn't like was the bathroom. It was uncomfortably small, so if you are of a larger stature it may prove difficult. The views are lovely when its not raining. The B & B is almost quaint. Raymond & Hilary... More

Clean room, welcoming hosts, good location and unspoilt views across the loch. Raymond and Hilary couldn't do enough to help us whilst we stayed here. Freshly cooked breakfast every morning with lots of tea and coffee, fresh towels every day and some good advice about how to find our way around the town as soon as we arrived. Would happily... This B & B is easily found, about 5 minutes walk from the train station. The owner was very welcoming, and our room was clean and tidy, with a nice en suite bathroom. Was surprised by the push button taps on the sink, but this didn't cause a problem! We did struggle with the bed a bit - we found... More

Spent five nights here. Good base for travelling around the area. Hilary and Ray were very helpful and cooked a good breakfast every day. My one complaint, if it is classed as a complaint, is that breakfast was served each day between 8 and 8.30 a.m. which I think is a bit early when you are on holiday. You should... More

We have just returned after staying in the Ardmory for 4 nights. It was very good, lovely breakfast and spotlessly clean. Lovely view from the dining room and very central. The couple couldn,t have been more helpfull. Would recommend it to anyone. Alison and Michael Davis Hawick
