It's often the little extra touches which make all the difference -Ardmory House is full of extra touches, too numerous to mention in that Hilary and Ray pay attention to detail and go the extra mile. From make up removal items, tourist attraction suggestions, full mending kits and drying wet jackets etc in airing cupboard. Not batting an eyelid when...

I stayed at the Ardmory for several nights in August. The room I got was big, clean and the beds comfortable. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Hillary washed my clothes on the evening I arrived which was a great help. She really made me feel welcome. The B&B is close to the city centre and a very good...

Hillary is a very nice host and cares to make you feel at home. Large selection of breakfast although it had to be chosen the night before. The room had everything we needed but it was a bit old fashioned from our point of view.

Me and my sister stayed for two nights as we were booked on the Jacobite train. Very traditional B&B which was nice. Room ideal - ensuite tv and wifi. As per other reviews this place is up a hill and some steps. Not an issue for us though. Close to the high street and the train station. Private parking was...

There was definitely a reason for last minute availability. Although this property seemed reasonable the service provided to guests was poor. Wifi was turned on and off whenever the proprietors went to their beds, breakfast was strictly served between 8-8.30am and only if you submit the breakfast choices the night before. Due to a long day, we did not submit...

Lovely view over Loch Linnie. Hilary & Ray looked after our every need - from drying out our sodden clothing to supplying us with jugfuls of fresh milk for our countless cups of tea. They helped to keep us positive in spite of a rain soaked long weekend and after checking out, very kindly looked after my suitcase until I...

Stayed here in June to go on the Jacobite Steam Train. The location is good although it is uphill then you have quite a few stairs to climb up to the house itself. Not for anyone with mobility problems. Got a nice welcome on arrival and showed to our twin room which was upstairs. Only 3 bedrooms, other two are...

The company I work for enquired about booking a room at this B&B. The first call went smoothly enough but when we tried to call back to make the booking we were treat very differently. Very abruptly and unfriendly by a lady, we do not take workmen, had problems with them in the past and put the phone down. The...

My son and I stayed at Ardmory for two nights sharing a twin room and Hilary and Ray were extremely hospitable and keep this B & B in immaculate condition with clean rooms and an excellent variety and choice for the breakfast menu - I particularly enjoyed the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon! Its very centrally located with parking available...

We stayed here for two nights. Our rooms were comfortable and clean and the bed was cosy. The one thing we didn't like was the bathroom. It was uncomfortably small, so if you are of a larger stature it may prove difficult. The views are lovely when its not raining. The B & B is almost quaint. Raymond & Hilary...
