Very friendly hotel and friendly staffs, well-equipped kitchen, very good wifi but they don't change the bed sheets and pillow cover after an occupant leaves the bed however it doesn't stink. Only six cars can park in the hotel car park however you can park in the neighborhood.

Stayed here before biking the Gt Glen Way. Arrived late due to train delay but the room was comfortable, the staff great and represented good value for money. The location is good for the station and for the WHW/GGW.

Hi there! Thanks for asking! To get to the foot Mountain Track on Ben Nevis, you exit the hostel, walk down the hill to the A82/Belford Road, and turn Right. Follow this road until you reach a round about. Keep right on Glen Nevis road and walk for another 10-15 minutes. On your left you'll find the visitors centre. From here there are many signs pointing towards Ben Nevis trail, which starts on the left of the Parking lot. To get to Loch Ness you need a car or to take the bus. If you are taking the bus, Citylink runs regular routes from Fort William to Inverness, stopping off at the Scenic Urquhart Castle which sits on Loch Ness. If you have a car, you will travel north of Fort William and the rout is very well marked, with many signs. Hope this helps! If you have further questions, do not hesitate to ask. Kelsey Manager

Hi there! It is a 5 minute walk from the Train station to Fort William Backpackers Hostel. When you exit the train station, take a left and cross Belford Road. Once you cross, continue left along this road. Take Alma road, the first road on your right and keep to the left hand side of it until you come to our hostel. It is big and an older style with a sign out the front. There are signs for all the roads. You can take a bus, but it is not necessary, we are very close to the train station! Hope this helps Kelsey Manager
