Phenomenal guesthouse. We only stayed one night but the personal touches and fantastic service made our stay perfect. Breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared and the facilities in the room were outstanding. I especially liked that they provided straighteners as well as a hair dryer and the products they provided from the Highlands Soap Co. were so good we actually went and bought some. Mark and Larisa were lovely and I'd definitely recommend Torlinnhe to anyone looking for a base in Fort William.

I cannot put into words how amazing this guest house is- it is worth visiting Fort William just to stay here! We stayed for two nights in a double room, the room was nicely decorated and spotlessly clean- everything was disinfected and wrapped so you knew it was fresh which really made me feel at ease. Mark and Larissa have thought of everything- they have everything you could need and more in the rooms and everything was local! There was Ben Nevis whisky, homemade shortbread (amazing), sleep spray, amazing toiletries from the highland soap company and so many more things. Cannot fault the room at all it was amazing. On the first night we had dinner in the hotel- prepared by Mark. I love food and travel around always trying the best restaurants I can find however- this was better than anything I have ever had in any restaurant. The lamb was amazing, everything is local and fresh and faultless. Breakfast was probably the best full English (Scottish) I have ever had- even the haggis was delicious. But it's the little things that make it- homemade bread, jams, fresh juice. There is parking outside and we always got a spot- there is also tables and chairs to enjoy a drink by the loch. Mark gave excellent recommendations of things to go locally (steal falls and the lost valley both were amazing). I cannot say a bad word against this guesthouse- I would love to stay (and eat) here again!

I can't express sufficiently just how impressed we were with Torlinnhe. This place is beautiful, tasteful, classy and immaculate. Our hosts Mark and Larissa were fantastic, both in the informative emails before we arrived and in their 'nothing was too much trouble' attitude from the moment we arrived. Mark had taken he time to clear some space in his garage ready for us to put our motorbikes in overnight. He chatted to us about our bikes, our trip, local facilities, etc in a way that made you feel he was genuinely interested. But most of all we were massively impressed by Marks culinary skills and his ethos relating to the quality and the sourcing of local ingredients. His knowledge was amazing. His enthusiasm unbounded. Any other breakfast we had during our tour of Scotland faded into insignificance compared to breakfast at Torlinnhe. It was a real treat and every mouthful to be savoured... From the cute little pots of home made preserves and home made milk and granary bread toast (with time given to enjoy these properly before cooked breakfast arrived) to the superb quality bacon, sausage, haggis etc, not to mention the caviar garnish on the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs - nice touch. Freshly squeezed juice, pots of yoghurt / fruit compote etc yummy. In the room there was a flask of fresh milk for tea n coffee (so much nicer than plastic pots of uht milk!) a complimentary carafe of whisky for our night cap and the most delicious homemade lemony shortbread. All the bathroom products were from The Highland Soap Company, beautiful. All in all a superb place to stay, we will be back and we'll definitely be booking for evening meal next time. Thanks so much Mark and Larissa and good luck for a successful year ahead. Melissa and Steve Mainprize, Scarborough.

Great little B&B close to Fort William with lovely rooms and amazing food. We had the mountain view room which was beautiful and a good size. The complimentary whisky and shortbread was a nice touch. Would recommend.
