I stayed for three nights at Glendoune B&B last august. My room did not have on-site facilities (as I was informed) but this was compensated for by having a bathroom next door. Some people might object to this but I do not mind at all! My room was very comfortable and spacious. Breakfast is great too, with a good range... More

We stayed at Glendoune B&B in July for two nights in Room 2. This room overlooked the colourful front garden on a very quiet residential road. We received a very warm welcome from Margaret who gave us a map and pointed us in the direction of town which only took 10 minutes to walk. The room was very spacious and... More

We stayed here at the end of our sixth and long, final day on the Great Glen Way. This guesthouse is just a 10 to 15 minute walk from the castle, easy after the 30km plus we’d just done. The room was clean and bed very comfortable. It was slightly inconvenient that our en-suite was actually outside the room but... More

We had the beautiful and spacious twin room overlooking the street and pretty little front garden. Glendoune is located on a quiet street (with parking permit available!) only a couple of blocks back from the waterfront and city centre - walkable to everything! Margaret was immensely helpful with things to do in the area, and everything she suggested was fabulous!... More

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights in mid June 2016. Fantastic location in the centre of Inverness, with good road links. Margaret and Angus were brilliant hosts, imparting their local knowledge from restaurants to locations we should go and see. They completely excelled themselves with giving us a warm, friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast was superb and... More

My husband and I stayed at Glendoune B&B for 3 nights in June, and we were sad to leave such a warm and inviting place. Margaret and Angus make you feel like this is your home away from home, and they are more than happy to recommend sites, tours, restaurants, etc., and can help you navigate the city. They really... Spent two great nights at Glendoune in May 2016. Margaret and Angus are such welcoming and helpful hosts, nothing was too much trouble to them. They gave me many helpful tips for my onwards journey that I really appreciated and consequently I visited places that I may have missed. Room was beautifully decorated and so comfortable - a real home... More

Mr and Mrs Noble could not be more friendly and helpful. The guest house is an easy walk from the bus and railway station, and I loved my front room, which is comfortable and quiet, and always spotlessly clean. Mrs Noble's breakfasts are superb, and you probably do not need lunch later on. When I visit Inverness again, I will... More

Spent 3 nights there, Margaret was so very kind, of great hospitality, gave us lots of advice about places to visit. Just 10 minutes walk from the city, parking just in front (or the rear), lovely and comfortable rooms, breakfast at its best. Everything fine ! Hope to return next year ...

We stayed in Glendoune for one night during our tour of Scotland in the spring of 2016. The room (on the top floor) was absolutely huge, with decent wifi. Contrary to a lot of places in Scottish b&bs (it seems), the bedclothes and quilt were big enough for me (6"3) :) Hostess was full of advice about Inverness and made... More
