We stayed four days while exploring nearby landmarks, having found the place in a Rick Steves guidebook. The room was comfortable and the breakfasts delicious. It's an easy walk to central Inverness and the beautiful river walks, highly recommended. The main high point of the Crown was the warm personality of Catriona. She couldn't have been more helpful and friendly... More

This B&B is located a couple of blocks up from the town center. It is very quiet and clean. The bathroom was a bit small, but functional---part of Scotland's charm. Our host and family were very gracious and friendly. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We had a charming stay.

This excellent B&B is located just two minutes's walk away from the River Ness and from Inverness Castle and five minutes away from the central train and bus stations. It might look far away from the stations on map apps, but there are stairs which grant easy access. It is cosy in the extreme, and the owner's infinite kindness, willingness... More

Stayed here twice in the last 2 years and found it a very warm and welcoming place. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms spacious and very adequate. Plenty of hot water. Ideal for central Inverness - only 5 minute walk from Train station. For the price it is hard to fault, Will return !!

We had trouble with the online booking system so emailed Catriona and she responded promptly and organised our booking efficiently. The Guesthouse is very close to the city centre and the train and bus stations, and easy to find following the website instructions. Other reviewers have mentioned the steps but they’re not steep and save a long walk around. They... More

The hotel staff was waiting for our arrival even it was almost midnight...... Travelling from London by car was exhausting but well worth it... The rooms were clean and the service was perfect.... The breakfast was equally good.... Stayed here twice with partner and her family... Will be back soon...

We stayed one night at the guest house in Inverness. The room was clean and cozy. The house was very nicely decorated and very close to the city centre. The hostess, Catrina, was very welcoming and was able to recommend some nice things to do on short stay.
