the location is ideal for a short walk into Inverness which is vital if its raining, which it more than likely will be. the breakfast was great. the rooms very clean and spacious, and the price very reasonable. I would definately go there again

Stayed at Ryeford before setting off to drive the North Coast 500 route. Location was perfect for a stay in Inverness, only a couple of minutes walk from the city centre. Room was lovely and comfortable, and hosts were friendly and helpful. Fabulous breakfast, would definitely recommend Ryeford.

We had a lovely stay here. The B&B is just a quick 3-min walk to shops & restaurants. We were very lucky and happened upon the Inverness Pipes & Drum Corp playing along the main pedestrian street (as we were walking back to Ryeford House after dinner); apparently this always happens on Tuesday evenings. Nice, ample breakfast. Highly recommended.

Ryeford house is a very nice B&B on the very edge of downtown Inverness, so it is quite convenient to the city proper. Parking was great just outside the house. Joan was a wonderful hostess and was very helpful with suggestions for dinner, etc. Breakfast was very delicious. The room (3 people) was very nice and spacious. The en-suite bathroom... More

My friends and children and I were traveling through Scotland and stayed at the Ryeford two nights. It was perfect for our group and we enjoyed spending time together in the evening in the living room. Our room accommodated me and my two teenage girls better than most rooms we stayed in during our trip. The inn was quaint, inviting,... More

Booked months earlier and was expecting a front room, but was put into Room 2 which was a little crammed, no view, but was adequate for our short stay.Room 3 is much better as we were given this for 1 night extended stay.Excellent location to town and Lochness. Parking can be an hit or miss affair, but parking is available a... More

We had the downstairs twin-fitted room for two nights during our recent trip to Scotland. The room was small, but very comfortable and clean. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful as we explored Inverness. This is a perfect location for travelers who do not have a vehicle because it is so close to the town centre, and an easy... More

Went to Inverness on a month long European tour to stay here for 2 nights. The breakfast was amazing and rooms were spacious and had all of the amenities and was within a few hundred yards to down town. We parked the car and walked everywhere. The guest was very open and accommodated us with all she had. The location... More

Terribly small room. No room to move around or open luggage. Even tinier bathroom. Shower is smaller than a phone booth. Certainly not a prime place to stay. Breakfast was well prepared and timely delivered. Very narrow stairway makes carrying luggage to room difficult

Great location, not too far from the train station and near the castle too. Great hosts, made to feel very welcome, clean and tidy room and breakfast first class. The people of Inverness were very friendly too.
