The Inverglen guest house is as close to an ideal place to stay as we have ever seen. The house is run with incredible attention to every possible detail, yet with a warm and welcoming focus on the guest's well-being. We stayed in a spacious, well-decorated room in which we immediately felt at home. Both John and Susan, the owners,... More

John and Susan helped us with all of our needs again, from giving us travel tips to packing us a breakfast when we had to leave early. The beds are so so comfortable and the room was extremely clean. The breakfast was delicious and Susan's homemade nut bread and muffins were yummy. We really liked that the Inverglen was located... More

A very cosy and charming b&b with the hosts being extremely friendly and insightful. Breakfast was incredible - freshly made everyday and John was full of friendly tips and advice for the day. Location is also fantastic with just a short walk to the city centre. Totally recommend to anyone who wants a base to explore the highlands.

This place was a great spot for us in Inverness. It's situated down a quiet neighborhood street, but a very short walk (5 to 10 minutes) to the main Inverness downtown area with restaurants and shops. The room we were in was huge and spacious and actually had 2 beds (1 king and 1 queen). The owner was very friendly... More

I stayed on Inverglen with my girlfriend for two nights - and I wish we have had time to stay longer. I am not exaggerating when I say that this was one of the best places I have ever visited! John and Susan were excellent hosts, the room was amazing, and breakfast even better. We had local products in our... More

Excellent hospitality. Homemade bread as an extra touch for tasty breakfast. Proprietor has good local knowledge for a visit to Inverness. Our room was spacious and very clean. Nice touch with fresh milk for a cuppa. Can recommend the local Italian restaurant Little Italy for a great meal.

I am terribly lazy when it comes to writing reviews, I will admit. There's no better explanation for writing this review about 6 months after me and my girlfriend stayed with Susan and John. BUT our stay at the Inverglen guest house was an absolute pleasure, so my bad conscience caught up with me as I feel I need to... More

Upon arrival, our host gave perfect detail into the lay of the land, what to do, and where to eat and drink. The house is beautiful- high ceilings, crown molding, large windows, and very fast internet! Our room had ample space, was extremely clean, and provided an overall relaxing atmosphere. The location is fantastic! In a beautiful neighborhood, the distance... More
