Excellent all round guest house, location perfect for town centre, only 5mins walk. Guest house very clean and tidy, bedrooms spacious with good decor, very comfy bed. Host Kenny was very pleasant and accommodating, although check in is 4pm I had arrived early around midday but he was still able to book me in without the room being ready, providing a key as I wasn’t going to back until late evening. Superb cooked piping hot breakfast. 4 private parking spaces at the rear of the property which make such a difference without the hassle of looking elsewhere. Highly recommend a visit, I shall return.

I had stayed at the Bluebell last year and when planning my week of business in Scotland this time around the only thing I wanted to ensure I did was to stay at Bluebell House again. Why? Because Kenny is the perfect example of how guests should be hosted. His many years of experience are obvious. The house is immaculate, the rooms stunning and the breakfast is delicious- the porridge with Drambuie, just awesome. I was lucky enough to be the first guest to sleep in a newly converted and decorated room which was, as expected stylishly completed.

Kenny the host was magic, really looked after us. Great location, only 5 min walk from the centre and more importantly parking! All the streets nearby are all permit so this was an extremely attractive offering on that basis alone. Decor is great and the bedrooms are kitted out with real quality furnishings. Highly recommended and the breakfast was great too!

Kenny was the perfect host. The room was spotlessly clean, great breakfast - couldn't have wished for anything else. Excellent value for money. Will look to stay here again next time we are in Inverness.

When we arrived we were greeted with a wonderful welcoming smile from Kenny the owner 😊 we stayed in the Thistle room which I will post a photo of. The bed was super comfy and the room was immaculately clean. Kenny's attention to detail and luxury is outstanding, from the beautiful crystal cut glasses to the complimentary sleep kits and tasty chocolates 🍫 😋 Kenny asked us what time we would like breakfast and sure enough when we came down at the agreed time a lovely pot of tea and our chosen juices were ready for us with our breakfasts brought out minutes later. 😀 A wonderful stay with a fabulous host, thank you Kenny 😊

The Bluebell House is a beautiful Bed and Breakfast that’s very central to Inverness, though still feels removed from the noise. The rooms themselves are absolutely gorgeous and comfortable, the house offers anything from games to DVDs, but just stepping outside and exploring Inverness was the best part. Kenny was very friendly and welcoming, gave us really good walking and dinner tips and also served us a delicious breakfast during our one-night stay. Highly recommended!

Nice B&B within easy stroll of city centre. Breakfast run more organised than usual (although seems to be the new way of doing things as adapting to Covid) – so select time and menu previous evening. Only 4 parking spaces but street parking available outside 6pm to 8 am.

Thank you for your review. Just to make it clear, there are only 4 parking spaces because there are only four rooms, a space for each room, no need to park on the street.

My husband and I stayed at the Bluebell for three nights earlier this month. It had been a long time since we had frequented B&Bs and we were astounded to find that our host, Kenny, was providing what would be classed as five star service in an hotel. The room was comfortable, extremely clean and well-cared for. Towels were changed daily and the little extras like chocolates on the bedside table were replenished daily too. Everything you could possibly want was provided. The breakfasts were excellent, plentiful and beautifully presented and the service was quick and efficient. Kenny is a great host, friendly and approachable and we would highly recommend his B&B to anybody.

Absolutely loved our 2 night stay at the bluebell. Kenny is a super friendly guy, nothing too much trouble, even provided us with a cold beer and wine on arrival! Our room was beautiful, loved the four poster bed!!! The room was immaculate with the little touches that many places miss...a tissue box, crystal cut glasses in the bedroom and bathroom, chocolates and ear plugs on the bedside cabinets, tunnock caramel wafers and hot chocolate aswell as tea and coffee. Piping hot, freshly cooked breakfast with a tonne of tea and coffee. Highly recommended and a big thank you Kenny for a super stay. Jude and Jamie
