This review is for the restaurant. The food at the Old North Inn is very good and there is a good selection. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The food is cooked to order so be prepared for a little wait but it is worth it. The portions are generous.

Summer trip last minute. Upon arrival the staff was very nice however that is where things end. The room was over the restaurant entrance facing the highway which had traffic all night. The day was hot and the room was hotter. Creaky floors. We had a storm in the night and woke to rain leaking from the ceiling. Staff promises... More

Made a flying visit recently whilst driving past. The restaurant itself is basic and old school, but the food, portion sizes, service and value is very decent. Pleasant visit for nice home cooked pub food. Worth a visit is driving past or in the area.

This place is over priced, shabby with bad mannered staff and not much going for it. We stayed for 1 night whilst travelling around Scotland and I was shocked. Our room was grubby with torn curtains, paint flaking of walls and ceilings and 2 lamps in the room, neither of which were working. Very little sleep from outside road noise... More

Have passed this little hotel on many occasions and finally decided to stop in for a meal and I wasn't disappointed. The portions were huge and very very tasty. Had the trio of bon bons to start with which included haggis, black pudding and white pudding balls in a crispy coating in a mustard and cream sauce, they were to... More

Enjoyed dinner here on 28th June the food was nice and plenty of it. It looked like it had been decorated since our last visit and I am not sure if it has been taken over by new owners, but the food was defiantly a lot better, as was the service. I think a lot of people drive past this... More

we stayed here last weekend as it was only one mile from friends we were visiting for the night and I have to say we were pleasantly surprised. it looks like it has been done up recently, the lounge/restaurant looked very nice and welcoming, although we weren't dining there; I had a pint last orders on way back in the... 12 of us ate here today for dinner, we had booked a table which was load ready for our arrival. The back of the pub may put you off when you park the car but don't let that stop you for going inside. The pub is big and well decorated but the best part is the delicious well sized pub... More

Service is very friendly and food is good value for money.I believe ownership has changed recently--could be wrong. We hadn't tried it for a while but went back after a disastrous toastie episode in a hotel in Beauly. The 2 toasties were like chalk and cheese--pardon pun! We enjoyed it so much that we went back this week and had delicious home-made... More

A weekend stay for a wedding, very good location for exploring the highlands. The hotel itself a little in need of some TLC but food excellent and staff friendly and very helpful. Rooms clean and tidy
