b&b is on a very quiet street.the owners are foreign and still need to learn some tricks of this business.that aside, had room 2 on the 2nd floor, which had amazing views over the city and indeed the castle,as suggested.had to ask when breakfast was, which in fact was plentiful and a different more friendly host serving. no lights are put on in...

I have stayed at a few B&Bs and love the family atmosphere and the flexibility that these establishments can offer compared to the low budget chain hotels. I arrived late at night with my young son .Had an early start the following morning. Explained this to the person that handed us the key. Blank response and informed that she only...

I stayed here to attend a conference in one of the more expensive hotels - the B&B was more my price range! I was arriving by public transport and missed a bus so, concerned I would miss the 8pm check in time, tried to call. I did struggle to get through, so contacted booking.com with whom I have booked, so...

Got put into a very nice room at the front of the house - with a view of the street! No castle views at all - the B&B name is quite misleading... While the room was fine, I was a little perturbed to have to use a shared bathroom. But as the price of the room was quite cheap, it...

We arrived in Inverness on a rainy April afternoon around 1pm and found our way to Castle Viewpoint (not to be confused with Castle View - the more established and very pleasant accommodation from which this B&B 'borrowed' its name, and presumably some of its custom - I can only assume the positive reviews in this thread have been given...

we had an overnight stay here, reasonably priced. Got a bit of a shock to discover there was no en suite. No wardrobe in the room, just some hangers on the back of the door. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Continental breakfast good.

We had the unpleasant experience of staying here. It is in a dodgy area. The view on arrival was through to the washing in the yard. We closed our bedroom door and then when we came back after dinner could not open it. The landlady could initially not be found- in fact he was hardly present and not friendly. We...
