I stayed at the hostel for one night and was welcomed by friendly and helpful staff. The female dormitory was nice and clean, the bed comfortable with a view of the hills and the river. The bathroom is clean but quite small. The common areas are cosy and there's a decent kitchen and excellent wifi even in the dormitories. The... More

after meeting the guy at reception, he took us to a house which is 3-4mins walk from the hostel, that house has 2 rooms with 4 beds each. Nothing like a hostel, no kitchen. the check out was quite easy, just drooping the keys. No parking ;( if you have a car you need to find a roadside parking.

This is not a hostel with a lot of soul but it is clean, as advertised, not too expensive, comfortable, and feels safe. They were very flexible about our late check in time. Good free wifi reaches the rooms. We were fortunate enough to get a female only room.

Stayed in a private room with my girlfriend. Room was decent size, clean and a comfy bed. Staff greeted us on arrival and showed us around and proved to be friendly, offered local advice on where to go etc. Would recommend.

We had a great stay here. The hostel is very cozy and in a good location right along the River Ness and literally across the street from the castle. Our private double room was very comfortable and clean with our own TV and a shared bathroom down the hall. We went to the restaurant that was attached to the hostel,... More

I did not have the option for female bedroom, only mixed. The mixed bedroom has an unpleasant smell, I guess because of someone's socks (boys sorry!!!) Kitchen closes at night, I guess to avoid latr noises. Fair enough. Good helpful staff, clean and well maintained. I would recommend.

I stayed here for two nights. They give you a tour of the place and it was very clean and tidy and ready for the new recipients. Obviously as other travels start filling up, you can;t predict how clean your room will be after the first night, but that's due to the travelers and not the establishment. I thought the... More

Our twin room was excellent with a nice view and TV. The kitchen and dining area is adequate but on the small side. The bathroom that we were told to use has no privacy and you toilet and shower with others - not nice. The kitchen close at 11:30pm and only opens at 07:30 am - very inconvenient. Excellent wifi.

We stayed here for 3 nights, and were very happy with our time there. The double room is very cosy, (although the heater wasn't working when we stayed there but we saw it was being fixed just as we left :) The bathrooms are very clean, and the second floor bathroom makes you feel like you're in somebody's home instead... This place is amazing! Our room looked like it had been freshly redecorated and was nicer than hotels I have stayed at - very warm and the mattresses seemed new and so comfy! Good hot showers (keep in mind they are shared so both men and women). There is a pub next door which is so cute and does great... More
