Well how lucky were we - managed to secure booking on the night Rod Stewart was in town. Bedroom well appointed, crisp linen, fluffy towels and lovely hot shower. Usual bits and bobs, hairdryer, tea/coffee & biscuits, toiletries and a very tasty chocolate to have before bed. Breakfast is continental and plentiful - homemade hot pancakes too mmmmmm. Wendy also... More

Nice little B&B run by a very nice (and funny!) lady named Wendy. Fresh croissants and pancakes in the morning. There are two small dogs on the property, but they are well-behaved and kept out of the way, so not a problem except for severe allergy sufferers. Wendy also offers reasonably-priced tours of the area--I highly recommend the Isle of... More

Stayed at this B&B 22 april till 24th. Rooms are clean and the bed was nice to sleep in. The breakfast was good and Wendy was amazing. We booked a tour by her and she took us on a tour for 4 hours. She knows a lot and we saw so much amazing places. I would advice everyone to book... More

Friendly greeting clean room breakfast nice with plenty to eat. Bed was a bit uncomfortable. Was not able to park as the owner had a large vehicle that she used for tours parked when we returned so was unable to access the car park which was very small had to park on the road which is resident parking only between... The B&B are in a good location. The rooms are on the second floor and at the attic. Small rooms with minimal place to place your luggage. no other place to spend time together while in the house. We never met the owner, unfortunantley she was to busy.

I had the joy of staying five days at Iona B&B during May 2015. The B&B is delightful has all the amenities one can ask for, great location to walk into town and explore the area. I feel I have found a friend for life, in Wendy, nobody I have encountered suits running this type of business like Wendy does,... More

Lovely home and two very welcoming little dogs made us feel welcome and happy. Places of interest were pointed out and nearby restaurants recommended. Could not have asked for a better B&B. I was catered for my gluten allergy and could not have asked for more.

We booked last minute due to unforeseen circumstances, my friend & I with both our dogs, bull breeds but behaved. It was no problem, they just fitted us in which was most appreciated. We we're left to our own devices which was nice partly due to the son having another job, but still explained everything & even gave us a... More

My wife and I stayed at the Iona House last weekend and had a lovely comfortable stay over 2 nights. The greeting was warm and friendly by the owners son. And the breakfast was lovely we understand cooked by his girlfriend. We also met Benny the dog a really cute creature and very friendly which made our stay feel homely.... More
