Me, my partner and our 4 month old baby stayed at the Craigmonie for two nights. We found the staff really friendly, helpful and accommodated well for our baby (especially the young woman on reception). Food was lovely and rooms were clean. Also it was a nice wee walk into the city centre which took about 10 minutes. The swimming...

Arrived last Friday with a couple of friends (who actually treated us) welcome was very nice and friendly. Our room was very clean and comfortable and everything you needed and more. Great shower and loads of hot water for a soak in the bath next morning. Did not eat in hotel as we were meeting more friends in town but...

We have stayed many times before and we like what is on offer. Clean, comfortable bedroom, good, well stocked bar, brilliant breakfasts, and delightful staff. Well positioned for major roads N,S,E and W and easy walk into town. Liked the pool and sauna. Not disappointed and we will certainly return. On the later question of "modern?" not really but a...

Stayed 3 nights in one of the maisonettes, which consists of a lounge downstairs and a bedroom and bathroom upstairs. As some other reviews have noted the decor and furniture is a bit tired and dated, but that didn't detract from our comfort. Breakfast was probably the best I've eaten anywhere and the team were friendly and professional. The only...

The food ( we had steak) was cooked to perfection with a very tasty drambuie and mushroom sauce. Breakfast this morning was a full buffet from which my cooked breakfast...

We had a couple of days here from the minute we turned up staff were helpful and cheerful. the room was large, the only slight moan would be that the floor above creaked a lot and the people staying up there wanted to have a dance at 6.30 am. We were given tips by the barstaff on where to go...

Fab hotel - stayed for two nights. Staff were friendly and helpful, food was lovely and great location. Only slight downside is the walls are thin so could hear our neighbours chatting. But overall, fab stay - think we will be back!
